I bought size 6 for my 8 yr old Boxer who has started to lose stability in his hind legs & is dragging his feet & causing his nails to bleed. These shoes are woking perfectly to protect his feet. The quality is very good & the shoes are easy to put on & they stay with no problem.
Karen Web –
These are awesome! Our Airdale pup adjusted to them within 10 minutes. She has worn them several times in the snow and runs and plays like normal! Helps to strap them down tightly. We are very happy with this purchase!
sherry leventhal –
My dog has a spinal condition which causes him to drag his hind legs. I turned the shoes around so the rubber is on the top of his foot and prevents the skin from rubbing on the ground. The shoes have been very protective of his skin and also provide friction do he doesnât slip.
veronica –
Super funny when my pup got her shoess, itâs kind of the good size for her and itâs kind of stable
Anthony Mello –
Super high quality and my dog loved them. Super easy to put on as well
Krysondra E. –
Sturdy little dog booties. Got these to cover my dogâs paw outside while she was recovering from an injury. Thereâs a little pamphlet inside to help you with training your dog to let you put them on, which I found helpful. They seem to stay on well, as long as theyâre tightened enough. Reflective strips are helpful in the evenings and for walks.
JoeO –
Really well made and fits my dog perfectly. Great dog shoes
marc zeitlin –
Shoes fit my rottie perfect! He got used to them right away. Walked in them very naturally. We walked to the lake and back on Rocky terrain and you could tell he was so happy to protect his feet. Only one came off in sticky mud, but if I stepped in it mine would too.
Leo –
While Harley, our dog, is not completely used to these shoes, I know it protects her feet. We live in the Mojave desert so the ground gets extremely hot out here. Now that we’re moving into winter, she’ll need them to protect her from the cold as well.. But overall, I would highly recommend getting these dog shoes for your pups.
Carol Nayes –
We purchased these boots for our 90 pound Labrador to protect his feet while hunting. We got a size 8 and it fits him very well. They have enough space that they don’t pinch his toes but not so much that he is tripping over his feet. The boots stayed on for a full day of pheasant hunting in some very brushy terrain. We had a problem with the sole of one boot but qumy was quick to respond to our concerns and make it right. I would purchase these boots again.
Scarlet –
After she got used to wearing them, she seemed completely at ease wearing these. I’ve had no problems with these dog shoes, and they work great!
Cindy C Deckinger –
We love these dog boots. Very easy to put on our Labrador. Once on they stay on. Must be comfortable, our dog does not try pulling off or biting at. Durability- Only had boots for two weeks, but appear very durable. Would definitely recommend these dog boots.
Missy McConnell –
Got the size 7s and fits my 81lb german shepherd perfectly! Theyâre comfy and she doesnât seem to mind walking in these shoes.
Dennis R. Koers –
My dog has hip issues and we have wooden floors, hence no traction. I bought a pair of size 5 and 6. She has not been able to kick them off and her traction is much better.
olga –
10 yr old German Shepherd walks and runs in spite of allergy that make his feet sore
Willow –
Originally ordered a size 5 through measurements given but it turned out to be too big for my dogâs legs. Though big, she was able to walk around in them comfortably (while it lasts) with the traction it provided. However, it slips out so easily due to it being way too oversized. Fortunately, they sent over a size 4 replacement! Turned out so perfect đđť my beloved girl has been walking around in it without it slipping! These shoes have given her so much life. Sheâs a senior dog, cross golden retriever and husky but turned out to be smaller! Somewhat the size of a Samoyed but possibly slightly smaller? She has arthritis on her hind legs. Itâs gotten so bad she canât get up herself anymore, and slips every time she walks because her paw pads have not enough traction to hold her weight. These shoes gave her the traction she needs!! She can get up (occasionally) with these shoes and can walk in them for hours without slipping!!! Thank you for saving for 13 year old babyâs life!!!
Victoria –
These boots do the job and protect my Pomskyâs paws from gross Manhattan streets! However, if youâve got a very energetic dog that likes to run around like crazy, it might get a little rough because they might slide off no matter how tight you make them. I started using socks with grips, the boots stopped slipping off and I noticed my dog being more comfortable! Also, Iâm not sure if itâs water-resistant since after the first rain his socks got extremely wet, but overall Iâm happy with because it does the job. I would recommend getting it a size bigger, I measured my dogs paws precisely and got him âhisâ size. However, he started getting blisters after the first walk, so I re-ordered a bigger size (size 4). It fit him a lot better and itâs been a few days and I havenât noticed any blisters.
P.S. appreciated the instruction that comes with it, please read it!
David Krus –
My dog has a severe allergies and he gets rash on his Paws, to prevent this he needs to wear this booties every time we take him for a walk.
It took few day to train him but hes doing better now.
Rholynda Bronson –
I have been buying these dog shoes for the past 3 years and my baby girl loves them! I enjoy buying different colors and she is very excited to run and play in them every day!
JSDenton –
The boots fit my dog well. She is a Blue Heeler mix weighing in at around 45 pounds. I purchased a size 6.
Smith –
We got these shoes for when my dog had a toenail removed and could not go outside without her foot being wrapped up. I took a little bit of getting used to but she didn’t mind wearing them after a while. as long as you secure them tight enough they will withstand even sprinting across the backyard after squirrels. I definitely recommend measuring your dog’s foot and buying the right size.
Izabel –
This is a very good quality dog shoes – and it’s been so helpful for my senior dog. She’s a lab mix and just over 60lbs, and the size 5 fit her very well. The product has great instructions to get your dog acclimated to it and set them up for success. Plus, don’t hesitate to contact the seller – their customer service is amazing. Very satisfied with my purchase, thank you!
D. Walsh –
We have been training our dog to wear these and it’s been going well. They’re well constructed, easy to put on and off (within reason – you’re putting them on a dog, after all!), and the instruction booklet is clear and helpful. I’m impressed with the quality of the booties so far and will definitely update this review after they have made it through a Wisconsin winter.
M. Jordan –
Perfect idea for a dog with a injured paw as it keeps them from licking and keeping bandage clean and dry! He has been wearing on his back paws for the last week and are holding up good so far.
M Penny –
Was dog shoes what we were looking for. Fits good, took a little while for our little boy to get used to, but seems to have adapted now.
Jackson32 –
Dog loves shoes but developed sores on feet. These shoes are for the back legs of a very old Lab with little control of her rear legs. She seems to love these shoes and they help her greatly on slippery surfaces.
I check frequently to see whether the shoes have twisted and are upside down, which happens about once a day. This was expected and reviews indicate that this is probably going to happen with any dog shoe (these seem to be the right size and I fasten them firmly). They are reasonably easy to twist back.
After she wore these for several days (perhaps a week), I removed them to clean them. I found yard debris inside and found places on top of her feet where there were open sores. These could have come from seams where fastening ties were attached (they had a rough, slightly-protruding place inside) or from wearing for too long between cleanings. I will see if I can find socks that work with these and will try other wearing intervals.
JaBoiCringe –
I wasnât really sure how to rate Comfort but Brutus has not complained!
Great for helping our 13 year old dog get traction on our hardwood floors. He wears them all day and we take them off at night.
These boots are very durable, and easy to put on. The Velcro straps secure fairly well but will rotate on feet if not pulled tight enough.
We bought another product that was more like rubber socks with elastic at the top. They were cheaper but they did not last and were hard to put on.
I highly recommend these dog boots.
J F. –
By far the best I’ve found that actually stay on my dog’s paws!!! Don’t buy from anywhere else but from here!!! They will save your wood floors from scratches and save their paws from hot concrete and rocks while walking!!!
Brayton Wiltfong –
They worked wonders for my dog, especially to protect his feet from drag marks and to give him some traction back. The size guide was perectly accurate as well.
Beware when washing that the Velcro will pick up fibers and to either wash by hand or separately if you can.
Also please pay special attention to the paw marks. They need to face the outside, that way exposed Velcro doesn’t scrape your dog’s ankles.
Donna –
Shes worn them already. Didnt take her long to get used to these dog shoes. I got the biggest size, shes a 2 year old lab. They seem to fit well.
David Jones –
These dog shoes fit good and stayed on her feet, hiked for about 4 miles. Took them off for her to go into the water and put them back on and they tend to come off with her paws all wet. Overall these worked really well, would definitely buy them again.
Tara –
Amazing dog boots and great for all outdoor activities! I was a little unsure if these would work or well even stay on after I have tried others, but I was impressed! They are great quality, work amazing and keep my babies feet safe, especially on those hot days and even better they actually stay on her feet! I am very happy with my purchase!
Jayson –
These dog shoes are great quality. I used them every day this summer walking my dog on the concrete and will continue to use in the winter with the salt and ice.
SweetJ –
I have a puppy with a birth defect with his front paw we use these boots for walks only in his front paw the vet we use has since noticed him walking straighter and he no longer has to have his leg removed we live these boots and as he grows we will be getting more
Heather D. –
Best dog boots we have purchased! These are the best dog boots we have ever purchased! They stay on all day long and are holding up to walking everywhere on my sons service dog! They are awesome!
Jessica –
My dog absolutely loves being outside hiking and kayaking and going on runs, but her paws are so sensitive. On just a normal 20 minute walk through the neighborhood, her paws would be all sore and cracked. So we bought her some booties. They didn’t even last one walk. But then we found busy dog shoes and they are absolutely wonderful. Best investment I’ve made for my dog! She loves them, in the photos we were hiking on a really rocky trail and she was running and dragging me as if the rocks weren’t there. She definitely loved them, and if it protects her paws, I do to! This is a must have for outdoorsy dogs!!
James Akridge –
Paw savers!! No more fox tails!! Our pooch is a ball and frisbee fanatic and these shoes are saving his feet from a beating he took to them right away and Iâm pretty sure our ball junky Ausie is faster than ever!
Joanna N. –
These dog boots give my elderly GSD his dignity back. Boots assist with ankle stability and awareness of where his feet are through some light weight and stretch of proprioreceptors.
Also provide good traction on slippery surfaces and uneven terrain.
JM Sally –
Works well at protecting my hardwood floors. Customer service is responsive and very helpful!
Fred Stuit –
Protection from the hot pavement in Las Vegas….. Fit well. It only took about a day for her to get used to them. She wears them almost 24/7 only off at night…. Great stuff
Brad Thompson –
My dog had injured her back paw, lost a toe, had to keep dry. These boots worked great.
Sherry Lynch –
great dog shoes. Have tried other dog shoes that just fall off. These stay on and my dogs love them. We get comments everywhere we go and the dogs walk completely normal not like you see some dogs where they seem so uncomfortable. Love Love
smm –
I have a large Labrador. Have to coax him with treats sometimes to get them on, but he keeps them on. They are a big help with walking him in the summer time. Not sure if they are water resistance because he has not worn them in wet conditions.
J22Runner –
We live in the desert & our dog desperately wants to go check the mail with me in the heat of the day. These are perfect! Obviously will take some time for the pup to get use to them but I followed the sizing guide and all is great! Looking forward to not worrying about if the cement is too hot for him if we need to go somewhere in the Summer months.
Julia Lang –
We also have some $80 Ruffwear hiking booties, but were looking for something less pricey just for the heat. These were perfect, fit well, stayed on, high quality for the price. Comparable to the Ruffwear. Very impressed.
christine –
My dog is a cocker spaniel, hr weighs 50 pounds, he has wide paws and a dew claw. I went with a size 5 to ensure they were wide enough. It was a perfect fit and he had no problem adjusting to them. I put them on and he went outside in the snow with no problems. Definately would recommend, they come with 3 adjustsble straps and stayed on with out any issues. I give a 5 star rating all the way
Kyle wesselman –
I looked all over for shoes for our dog when we went to Washington DC and knew weâd be doing a lot of walking around. It was August which means super hot pavement. These boots were a life saver for her! They fit great, worked so well and she didnât mind them once she got them on. We walked around the National Mall for 6 hours, she wore them the entire time and never had any issues. She also got so many compliments and remarks the whole day about how she looked so happy and how smart it was to have shoes for her. Definitely a good buy, canât recommend enough!
Christopher Byron –
This is an early review, as we’ve only had these for a week, but the initial impression is very good. My 9 year old husky is having problems with his back legs, and we have mostly hard wood floors, so he’d been sliding a lot when trying to get up and slipping on the stairs. He’s also dragging his paws when he walks so he’d been wearing his nails/toes down to nothing. He seems a lot more comfortable walking in the boots (we only use the back 2) as he’s keeping his head up more and wanting to walk longer, which is normal for a husky. He also has better grip on the floors when wearing them inside, though we still have to watch him on the stairs, as he hasn’t quite got the hang of lifting his feet enough to get the boots over the step and still stumbles a bit. The only drawback is that the sizing wasn’t right. Husky paws in particular can be very wide or very narrow, depending on how much he spreads his toes – they need to get wide to run on snow. So we got him size 7’s, but sometimes they flip over on him so he’s walking on the top of the boot. I wish they sold them in pairs, so I could get just 2 size 6’s to see if these were better for him. Oh well… Over all, these help him have more traction and protect his feet from injury when he’s dragging, so I can’t really complain. Good boots for my dog!
James H –
The boots fit well equal to the measurements shown online. They seem to be durable also.
Richard –
Ordered size 7 based on the measurement table. They were too large. Ordered the size 6 and they are perfect. Put a finger inside the boot. If there is room for it, then they are too big. If the dog’s foot is in the boot comfortably and there is not room for a finger, then you have the right size. If too big, they do not stay on. With the right fit, they stay on.
Sherry M. –
The instructions are totally on point. But we were not allowed that luxury.
We already had paw injuries.
She had already been wearing bandages and my socks.. But she did not really like them.
As soon as they arrived, I was noticeably excited! (Maybe my joy made it pretty easy?)
Open and applied as quick as I could.. and grabbed a leash.
This is my second summer living in SW Florida. My advice is if you think your bff would benefit from boots, you are right.
We went for our first walk.. A bit of scuffles, readjusting, lots of love and tears of joy.
She will accept them! She actually walked in grass, I thought she hated grass.. Maybe it was the fireants?
I now know.. There will be weekly nail trims..
What did I pay $30? A small price for a pair of doggie boots for my companion who complains about nothing..
I did the measuring.. she fit into a size 6 nicely. I would have liked to try a size 7..
But these work!
And I swear she wants to show off!!
Thank you for saving our đž
Laura Perkins –
When I put these on my sweet old man, he took off running on floors that he had been slipping down on. His whole demeanor changed for the good! He loves them! We are so thankful to you guys for these!
Ann Bellian –
They keep his paws safe from the heat of Florida, he likes them. Easy to slip on, easy to clean. They work perfectly! Size:8 for my 100lbs GSD
DMH –
Nice dog boots! I really like these boots, they stay on good & they are more sturdy than other boots I’ve purchased, which seems to allow my dog walk better in them.
HelzBelz –
These shoes are awesome. Bought them for my 1 year old golden and she loves them. They were perfect for the river with the sand and rocks being over 100+ degrees. Itâs a total difference from before till now that she has them. They seem to fit very well and she loves them. Highly recommend!
Caitlyn D. –
Took a little bit for my dog to get used to them but theyâre perfect and durable. Great for the hot pavement! She was comfortable as could be and walked great in them.
Shanna –
My pittie does not seem to mind wearing the shoes. Followed the how to instructions and it went off without a hitch. Good quality of rubber on the bottom so I do not worry that his pads burn on pavement. He has also gotten so many compliments on his boots. I only had 1 time where the shoe came off and that was my error, I realized it, corrected it and am more careful now. Great all around shoe and will buy again…when these wear out.
Rachel A –
We bought these because we live in a desert climate with scorching heat. In the summer, our dogsâ feet could easily burn in seconds. These keep their feet protected, and we noticed they can go even further on our runs with these on, even when the weather is nice. They are super adorable. I took my dog walking in an outdoor shopping area, and everyone wanted to pet her because she looked so cute with these on. We bought two more pairs because these are starting to get slightly worn on the top from their nails. I donât mind though because these have lasted a very long time and have done an excellent job protecting their feet. It didnât take long to teach my dogs how to wear them. Yes, they walk a little funny with them on but usually they love putting them on because they know it means theyâre going for a run!
HNC –
My puppy is 5 1/2 months old and is experiencing blisters on his paws from walking. They are baby paws, so they havenât developed callouses yet. (It is not hot when we walk him)
These shoes are amazing! They stay on well and he doesnât mind them at all! It has been a godsend as he needs the walk to get his energy out, so his energy doesnât get him in trouble! đ
LAFD Princess –
Item is very well made and it was no problem for my 95lb German Shepherd to walk in them right away. I purchased these boots to help my girl to walk better because she has developed a little hip weakness and these prevent her feet from slipping when she walks on our tile floor. The rubber sole grips very well. I use them on her back paws only while indoors and then on all 4 paws outdoors. I am very pleased with the results and so is she! Excellent product that I will definitely will buy again.
Christine Martin –
This product works well for our purpose. Our dog had torn a bit of his pad & we needed something to keep his foot from getting infected.
Bethany Fernandez –
good dog booties. work well on my pup. he cant get them off
Jacquelyn C. Holihan –
I have to say these dog boots seem to be high quality. They are soft inside and have a durable sole. They are also easy to put on with the zipper that unzips all the way down.
J.Barry Burns –
Easy to put on, very waterproof, stays on even when walking through thick wet grass and fits the contour of our dog’s paw.
Anon –
I bought these for my dog so that he can walk around without me being worried of him stepping on glass or worried about his feet on the hot ground. I had a fear that he wouldn’t be able to walk around in them or he wouldn’t want to, boy was I wrong he loves them! for about the first half-hour he had them on he walked a little strangely but after that he was bouncing around no problem.
Kelly –
I live in Florida and my dog and I go to the farmers market on saturday mornings. Florida pavement gets hot early so if I sleep in I feel bad bringing him and leaving him home. We tried the shoes today for the first time. He walked very funny at home and in the car but as soon as we got to the farmers market he was so distracted he walked normally. The pavement didnât bother him and I could guilt free take my time walking around! Everyone commented on his shoes too (1 guy asked to take a picture and a couple others asked where I got them). Donât be discouraged if your dog walks funny at first. Just takes some getting used to and a distraction to help!
Joshua Chang –
These are great and the best dog boots Iâve used so far. If you could make them go a little higher so the Velcro is above the dogs dew claw that would be better.
One thing to be careful is that if your dog has a dew claw and the Velcro goes over it then the dew claw rubs against their fur. This causes basically a burn from the friction.
Gwen Brannick –
The boots are great. I put them on Captain to protect his pads walking the dock in this heat. They are also useful in protecting the cars interior. He doesn’t seem to mind wearing them either!
Moira –
As much as my dog dislikes putting them on, she is quite happy to wear them out. Protects her feet from the hot sun. I will say that some threads have come loose which is the only reason I gave the product four stars.
Michelle –
Great hiking shoe, especially for the price. They held up great on a rocky hike which included some playtime in the water. As you can see in the video, they are a little tricky to correctly put on. Be sure that they are Velcro tight enough, especially the top strap. It was hard to tell if they were too tight or loose and I was nervous about the possibility of cutting off circulation. Once I got them on correctly, we had no issues. He adjusted quickly to having them on and they did not hinder him on the trail at all. Very sturdy boot. Even with all the rugged terrain, they looked brand new at the end of the hike.
Bob Baumker –
These boots work perfectly for my 9 yr old – 83 lb Golden Retriever. We have all hardwood floors and tile here in Florida and his back paws kept sliding out when getting up etc. These boots gave him the confidence to hop right up without sliding sideways. They certainly are durable to wear outside for sure. Another thing, it’s easy to just clean the bottoms with hot water which brings the rubber grippers back nicely to grip the floors. We’re loving them! I got him size 7 to be safe that the nails wouldn’t be uncomfortable. He doesn’t even reach to pull them off. One note: it’s OK to tighten the straps if one twists a little bit, it doesn’t bother him to be tighter. Hope this helps out….Bob. Great Dog Boots!
John MacDougall –
we practiced with them in the house for a short time each day.(3days) First time using outside just put on front paws, she did great. Stayed on the whole tie ~couple of miles.Even jumped in river before we could remove and stayed on. Was nervous to tighten velcro to tight but pretty easy to get it right. Good price at $30.
Archille Cuyle –
They are amazing. I actually bought them for my lab to swim in because he jumps in and out of the pool and runs on the concrete until his feet bleed. He used them for a whole day and no more sore feet.
Lilmissblonde –
My dog basically declawed on of his toes… so while itâs healing he needed something on his paw to walk around inside and out so nothing got into it. These have worked great and he got use to them very fast. But since he has to wear them so much it did rub on his dew claw and cause some irritation and infection. So great for short use (like hiking/walks) but not for extended use. Otherwise works just how they should.
Derek W. –
For the price I was kind of a skeptic. I needed a good pair of dog boots, and stumbled upon a fantastic pair. These are on par with what I’d expect a more expensive set to be. Came with four in a pack. They are sturdy. Easy to put on, and they stay on. My Rex didn’t take long at all to get used to them. I will order again if ever needed.
Sguillen –
Great dog shoes! At first Ted was very weary of it, walked funny of course but now that he is used to it, he seems so much more confident. Super happy dog mama.
victoria baclig –
My dog doesn’t mind walking in the shoes, but you have to adjust the velcro so it doesn’t slip.
Caroline1 –
Great Dog Shoes. Very well made doggy boots. I was impressed by the thoughtful, compassionate instructions which explained how to gradually coax my dog to wear these boots. Be sure to measure your dogâs foot before you order, donât guess about the size.
TooClose2DC –
My pup had to have a benign tumor removed and couldn’t get her paw wet. The vet cut open a saline bag and put a tie through the top. That was unusable. These fit and kept my pup’s foot dry!
Amz Custo –
Perfect , for Good Dogs with big Paws . It stays flat and help the Dogs and it does what is suppose to . PROTECT OUR PETS FROM HARSH COLD , HEAT AND OTHER STUFFS THAT HURT OUR pets
Elmer Roldan –
I live in the hood, hood and these streets are rough, rugged and raw. My pit kept getting his paws cut by glass and other hood debris, which caused infections and trips to the hospital. These little boots – while they make my pit look less gangsta – keep her safe as we go on our nightly stroll. They look cool – like lil timbos. Theyâre easy to put on and take off.
mark –
Definitely a quality product, however, would not stay on my Siberian Husky’s paws. Tried the next size smaller, (a 5) and still would not stay on during a gentle walk.
kat morrisson –
Really well-made, quality booties. We are still working on the whole getting-him-used-to-shoes thing, but these are great shoes and will provide good comfort and protection from the searing heat of desert pavement.
Cali –
I really liked this product! The only trouble I had was putting them on Max. He quickly got the hang of them and was running around the yard. They feel pretty durable. However, I am not sure of how water resistant they are. I got him a size 6. I recommend these shoes!
eve connolly –
Both of my dogs adapted easily to wearing the boots, live on a large parcel with those darn goad heads on the property and sap driping from my Oak Trees. These are much easier to clean and protects their paws. They are more costly then the ones from the pet store, but can’t compare the two. Quality, duribility are obvious.
Stephen W. Sepeck –
My dog Daphne (Weimaraner) is over 16 years old. She drags her rear paws, wearing her nails down to the point of bleeding. These boots have saved me a lot of time, and saved her from a lot of pain.
eshop –
Good shoes for indoors just too small for my Newf. Size is too small for my Newfie. Need next size up. She can still wear them but has found a way to loosen the Velcro so they fall off her. We use them indoors on wood floor.
Shannon Driggers –
Great dog shoes! I havenât had a chance to see if theyâre waterproof yet or not, but they seem to be durable and fit well. I purchased them for my 80lb bulldog because she has a interdigital cyst that weâre trying to protect from rupturing when she plays outside and hikes with us. So far, Iâve only tried one shoe on the foot where her cyst is, but it has stayed on during her playtime outside with her heeler sister. She runs in it full blast, up and down stairs, on uneven terrain, and it hasnât come off yet.
Nick –
Bought these because my dog had a nail that was about to fall off and I wanted her to stop licking them. They worked well when I was able to keep them on her. She chewed off the first pair and has been able to get herself out of the boot constantly.
Alyssa Nicole –
These booties help my dog in the Arizona summer! They are so easy to put on too! I definitely recommend these booties for your fur babies
Jace –
Great dog boots! These have a thicker sole, she tripped a little at first. They have good traction and fit well. Easier to put on
and strap down well without bugging her dew claws. These will be my service dog’s new go to boots.. No thorns or goat heads stuck in her paws!
Yael Padilla –
bought these for my very active dobberman so she can run, bike and hike in the summer with out peeling her paw pads! she got used to them very quickly!
Charles R. Hoffman –
Dog loves her Qumy Boots. We tried several dog boots at various local pet shops and all were quickly removed by our dog (a very loving, playful, energetic athletic American Pitbull Terrier). We found QUMY and ordered a pair. They arrived quickly and are exactly as described and a superior product to what is offered in the pet shops. Our dog was not able to shake these off her feet and after the first 5 minutes of uncertainty walking in boots she was found running and leaping in them. We believe she actually enjoys having these on her feet when walking on the hot pavement (and that pavement get very very hot in the Southern United States).
Liana Conway –
Our dog isn’t the biggest fan of wearing these boots, but they stay on his feet even when he’s running & the instructions for getting the dog used to wearing them were very helpful in the beginning.
RESQ-MD –
The boots are very well made, with tightly stitched seams that align perfectly. They fit exactly as described (use the supplied guide) and my dog seems to be very comfortable, they stay in place and provide superb protection. A great value for a well made, well though out product.
Sarah C. –
I bought these to keep my dog from chewing on his paws. They did the trick! His paws healed up nicely and now he doesn’t chew on them even with the booties off.
They are very good quality.
Its also extremely entertaining to watch them walk around for the first few times wearing them.
LSR –
Sturdiest dog boots we found. Our Labrador Retriever is rehabilitating from a spinal cord injury and learning to use his hind legs. Because he drags his nails, they keep breaking. These dog boots have prevented further breakage as well as providing good traction. His first set lasted well through a rough winter. When they finally wore out, we replaced them with a cheaper quality boot which wore out right away. We’re back to using Qumy dog boots. Only suggested improvement would be to reinforce the boot tips better, as his nails wear small holes in that area. This is only an issue for dogs who drag their nails, though. Overall, a very good product.

Pretty good dog boots. These work pretty well. Not perfect or amazing, but they usually get the job done. We got the size it said on the website and they are still a little loose up top. They need to make these with a different shape. More bell like. Make the actual foot part the correct size, then the part that comes up their arm tighter so that they stay on better. Our dog only kicked them off a few times, but then we would just crank down on the velcro to get them as tight as possible and they would usually stay on. Dogs don’t like them on, but he’s sort of used to them now. And he only hast to wear them a few times of the year when it’s freezing cold or at the in laws house because they don’t want him scratching up their “fine” hardwood floors, haha. The rubber on the bottom is great for traction and they keep his feet from getting ice in between his toes.

Perfect to protect paws in winter. Love these! I only had the two front boots on lol so he was marching. I know over time he will get use to them. I love that they came with a little booklet for those that need a bit of help on how to get your pup to wear the boots. They are also cleaver and thoughtful, as they have put a yellow paw print on the boot that faces the outside so you know what boot goes on which foot.
I will update my review as Soon as we get some good show to use them in. So for now I can not state how durable they are. But I imagine they are pretty good. They seem well made and sturdy.
I followed the measurement table and my pup has a paw that is 2 1/4â wide and 2 3/4â long. So I got the size 5. They fit him perfect. They donât flop or fall off.
I love the reflective strip at the top and was surprised to find that the inside of the boot has soft material! So no itchy or rough material makes his paws very happy.
Canât wait to use these and they are going to be perfect to protect his paws in winter and on hot pavement in the summer.

Overall the shoes work pretty well for my boys. We live in the Interior of Alaska so temperatures get relatively low, for obvious reasons. The shoes allow the boys to be out longer, however with enough snow and running around it will eventually pile up into their shoes. The biggest thing is it helps adds a layer of protection between their paws and the ground. The overall integrity of the shoes earned 4 out of 5 stars for me. Mainly being the fabric will start to slowly wear away leaving one or two strings falling off here and there. The fabric dries relatively quick when placed near a furnace or in a dry area. I would likely use these during warmer climates and long hikes for the dogs, however if you are looking for shoes for the snow, these will somewhat suffice.

Large black lab with a disabled hind quarters – Purchase was just delivered – haven’t had them on for one full day yet – one problem is that the velcro closures get snagged in the carpet when he lays on it – virtually impossible for him to get his leg free – In the process of trying to cover the closures with cellophane tape to keep keep his feet freely movable – so far that seems to be working – will comment more after more experience –

Boots worked great in snow! Gave these booties a good test up in the snow this weekend and worked great. My pit bull was completely unphased by the snow and cold. I got her a size 6 and they fit perfectly. She of course was super awkward in them at first but after one wear she was walking normally. When velcroed correctly and tight they stayed on like a charm, even with her galloping through the snow. Can’t say much on durability but definitely protected by babies paws.
Catherine Beaudry –
I can’t really say about comfort because i couldn’t keep on my little guy.
The sizing was a little confusing for me and i could have measured wrong.
I really need to cover my dog’s paws because they are pretty raw from allergies the vet believes.
The quality is excellent and flexibility of these boots are impressive.
I’ve tried just about everything on the market socks gauges and can’t keep anything on him.
I difienetly would recommend these boots and the price is really good.
Vermonter –
I would have entitled this review “Best dog boots I have ever purchased” – which is true – but the product can be improved upon. The boots fasten below the dog’s wrist/ankle and if not put on properly, they fly off. If you use this product, ensure that your dog’s toenails are properly trimmed so that the boots can be slid all the way to the dog’s toes. Also, ensure that both velcro straps are tightly secured. Make sure that you mount the boots with the paw print emblem facing outward. If you do all of this, even active dogs running off lead, like my dogs, should not be able to shed these boots.
JimmytheBike –
EZ on & off booties work great. Our dog had a paw injury that required stitches. These booties enabled her to still go out and frolic with her buddy during recovery. They are far easier to get on and off than the longer booties you can get, and also have a rubber treaded sole the bottom — great product.
adi –
Both my pits love them. Easy to put on, doesn’t slip off. I ordered 2 pairs from QUMY, one fit perfectly the other was very big but the seller replaced it and new pair arrived very soon. They don’t slip off even when the dogs are running I bought the upgrade ones.
sara benzing –
Great quality and good fit. I live in the upper midwest, and take my dog running with me throughout the winter. These boots help protect her paws from salt, snow, and cold. My pooch has no problem wearing the boots and they stay on her paws during our runs. These boots have given me piece of mind that my running partners paws are protected.
Gary Matthews –
Works with my crazy Vizsla. I have a 2-year-old Vizsla, who has high energy, even by Vizsla standards. No problems with shoes falling off on a 3-hour cross country ski excursion. When I took the shoes off in the car, his feet were still dry and warm. The double strap makes a big difference. These are superior to other shoes I have tried.
randall whitman –
Got them so our bulldog could go on our boat, which has a varnished teak deck. He didnât mind them on first wearing and they were perfect. No scratched deck.
CookOutLoud –
Took 20 minutes – my dog ran around in these with no problems! We have a golden retriever shepherd mix. We visited family in snow. It was my dogâs first time in snow & her first time wearing shoes. She ran around in these in snow within 20 minutes of putting them on her. Brilliant!!!
Sandra Cashman –
We just got these new boots. I love the quality and the comfy two-strap fit. I’m going through the five-day “get-acquainted” process with my dogs, thanks to the beautiful directions provided by QUMY. I really appreciate that because we want the dogs to accept their boots. In the 30-below weather we get here in Northern Wisconsin, their feet need protection. A note on the size. I have 2 bassett hounds with big feet. When I measured their feet I couldn’t believe they would take a size 8, when other big dog owners mostly reported buying a size 7, so I bought 7’s. They fit fine on the back feet, but were too small on the front, so I traded one set back for size 8 for the front feet. So do the measurements exactly the way they tell you to, and you’ll get the right fit.
J. Montiel –
Great booties for injured paw. The booties stayed in place and helped my pup run around with her cut paw. They are a little slippery when the ground is wet
Kaitlinn E. Welton –
My Remi absolutely loves his boots. Took him a little to get used to them. Now he expects to wear them on walks.
Kirsten Wong –
These can slip off on my 20-lb terrier but given the competition this is a nice place to start for dog booties.

First Dog Boots Purchase; I’m Impressed! I purchased the Size 8 boots for my 100 lb. Irish Wolfhound / Labrador Retriever mix. The training instructions that came with the boots were excellent. The instructions outline a week-long process, but I was able to get my dog comfortable with the boots in only three days using the week-long process as a rough guide. My dog has been using these boots daily to walk in snow and they seem to be quite comfortable for him; he is not bothered by them and he does not try to get them off of his feet. No more freezing cold paws or little snow balls in the webbing between his toes. As a bonus, the rubber soles have provided him with excellent traction indoors on tile floors. The boots appear to be durable, but they’ve only been in use for one week. For my first dog boots purchase, I’ve been impressed.

Paw support and health. This product is awesome. I walk my dog every day and night on the streets living in the suburbs. So when there is salt on the roads from the snow trucks, ice build up and snow pack you donât want your dogs feet to suffer. I bought these great shoes to try and bam. The licking has stopped, the roughness has stopped, and the bleeding has stopped. They grip the streets better, donât have to worry about falling or slipping anymore when we walk. These shoes are sturdy and my Great Lab loves them.
MAmich –
Great booties. These booties are easy to put on, even with a 75lb dog who doesnât believe he needs booties (heâs old and we live in Massachusetts, he needs the booties). I like the reflective strip that can be fastened around the top of the shoe. I also like the sole. The sole is a sturdy rubbery material that I think will hold up well against ice melt and rock salt. Additionally, the sturdy sole makes a quiet sound like a horse when he takes a step on the dry pavement which makes me giggle. He is slow to warm up to ideas that arenât his own (eating trash, for instance) so we are associating the booties with treats and he is warming to them. As long as I get the velcro strap tight enough, he canât get them off again. The booty opens nice and wide so I can get his foot in there and it doesnât catch on his dew claw (which goes inside the booty. The one downside I see, and once I have him trained it wonât be a problem, is that when I stretch the booty open, sometimes the velcro strap comes out of the loop. This isnât a problem with a calmer dog but since we are still training right now, having to wait until I restrap the booty is an exercise in patience for my pup. I donât want that to discourage you from buying them. I think they are great. It just takes a bit of practice to get my dog to be mellow enough to wait for the strap should it slip loose of the loop.
This part is for the manufacturer (and any diy people). If you could make some sort of nub at the end of the velcro strap so that it couldnât come out from the side loop, that would make these absolutely perfect.
Julie Jone –
I’ve tried several brands and types of “traction” for my geriatric dog. Although this one is not 100% perfect I will buy it again when needed. The top strap is the sturdier strap but the sturdiness of the top of the boot makes it difficult to tighten. I always fold/tuck the fabric gusset but it still will turn on his foot at times. The second strap is easier to tighten. With other brands, we have gotten the boots on too tightly and caused foot pain. Lighter brands also wear out in 4-6 weeks. Sticky pads only last a day. All said, my dog can still walk if the boot spins and I would rather have that than have one that is so tight his foot swells. The first boots we bought were way too big but we do look the product so I went down 2 sizes. For most days, they are fine and my dog plays and runs.
Leo and Maria –
While Harley, our dog, is not completely used to these shoes, I know it protects her feet. We live in the Mojave desert so the ground gets extremely hot out here. Now that we’re moving into winter, she’ll need them to protect her from the cold as well.. But overall, I would highly recommend getting these for your pups.
Scarlet –
After she got used to wearing them, she seemed completely at ease wearing these. I’ve had no problems with these shoes, and they work great!
Cindy C Deckinger –
Easy to put on our 110 pound labrador. We love these dog boots. Very easy to put on our Labrador. Once on they stay on. Must be comfortable, our dog does not try pulling off or biting at. Durability- Only had boots for two weeks, but appear very durable. Would definitely recommend these dog boots.
Willow –
Life changing shoes for senior dogs!
Smith –
Durable and true to fit. We got these for when my dog had a toenail removed and could not go outside without her foot being wrapped up. I took a little bit of getting used to but she didn’t mind wearing them after a while. as long as you secure them tight enough they will withstand even sprinting across the backyard after squirrels. I definitely recommend measuring your dog’s foot and buying the right size.
M. Jordan –
Great item for a dog with a injured paw! Perfect idea for a dog with a injured paw as it keeps them from licking and keeping bandage clean and dry! He has been wearing on his back paws for the last week and are holding up good so far.
Donna –
Shes worn them already. Didnt take her long to get used to them. I got the biggest size, shes a 2 year old lab. They seem to fit well.
Mumblez –
They stay on! My search is over. After my boy sliced his foot on glass at our local park I needed something to protect him. Got a pair for my girl too. They are highly receptive to them. Well worth the money
Cindy Smith –
Easy to put on and stays on. My dog recently had a cancerous weight-bearing toe that had to be amputated. This boot greatly assists in giving him stability and comfort while walking while his foot heals. Love the reflective feature as well. Very pleased with my purchase. He’s an 80 lb coonhound and the largest size fits very well.
Mary Peak –
These really help my old Lab get up off the floor. They stay on and they don’t bother him at all but he’s a very laid back dog. These give him back some of his independence.
David Jones –
These fit good and stayed on her feet, hiked for about 4 miles. Took them off for her to go into the water and put them back on and they tend to come off with her paws all wet. Overall these worked really well, would definitely buy them again.
denise p. –
After looking online everywhere for dog boots to help my pup with a paw injury, I purchased these. They are very easy to get on and the double Velcro straps keep them secure. The rubber bottoms give him traction and protect better than boots without that added layer. Great product and a true fit.
James a. –
I really like these shoes for my dog, there will be no more paw pad ripping on my dog anymore with these shoes on. I did order the size I measured for her feet and had to return them and get a size smaller. These do run wide and you have to put the shoes on very snug, I also figured out the paws on the shoes represent what side paw it should go on also. Wont let me post a video on here but IG has it #freyathedoggo
emily –
My doggo has pretty bad arthritis in his back end and had all sorts of trouble with getting up and squatting to go potty. Ordered these boots and put on his feet. No he wasn’t thrilled at first but he tried them because I gave him lots of love, treats and praise. His confidence is back up where he can get up and walk around the house well. We only have tile and hard floors so he slips and slides without his shoes. These are awesome!

Active Dog Not Bothered by Wearing Qumy Boots. I heard most dogs really resist wearing booties, some refusing to even walk. Qumy’s came with a very thorough explanation of how to start you dog off with them, though we didn’t need them because ours just took off. He seemed unbothered by them within minutes. His initial steps were more Clydesdale vs Vizsla puppy, which was quite funny, but he very quickly got back to his normal stride.
Mark T. –
Good foot protection. I like the boots my dog took to them right away sometime you gotta make sure they dong spin around. He very active. Looking forward to snow

The QUMY waterproof dog shoes were delivered earlier than expected by Amazon. The shoes are excellent quality as described and very durable. The company also included recommended steps to help our dog “ease” into wearing shoes which was very helpful. Thank you for a great product.
Jacklyn Redden Brendle –
What a stand up company. I purchased the wrong size for my dog and they are willing to send the correct pair no problem. My dog is getting older and needs a little more traction on his back legs and these work great!
kirra –
used these for about 2 weeks. Dog was awkward at first but after a day, we went on a long walk and it was nice to know her paws were protected from the hot pavement!
D. Ammons –
Chocolate lab and she walks funny for awhile but when put on correctly they don’t come off, very nicely made. TY
Ellen Guarisco –
The boots worked well, but sadly, he only got to wear them for one day. We lost him Monday night. He was having trouble breathing, and we took him to the vet that morning. She did what she could for him, but by that evening, he was struggling so bad to breathe that we made the tough decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge. The vet there at the clinic told us that liver and kidneys were failing, and we were doing the right thing. We had our boy for twelve of his thirteen years, and they were wonderful ones. Our hearts are still hurting, and it’s been a week today. Thank you for your prompt shipping, and we’v decided to keep the boots for now, because we plan on getting another dog eventually, but we’re just not ready at the moment.
Daniela Ruiz –
So when I saw the price of these booties I was a little hesitant to spend that much, BUT I’m glad I did! These booties remind me so much of KEEN shoes, they have awesome tread on them and the yellow dog paws on the side tell you which foot they should go on (right or left) and it also has an R or L on the bottom of the bootie. I love the double Velcro, one to tighten the bootie and the other is the reflector strap but both help keep the bootie on. Included with the booties is a guide on how to train your dog to want to wear them. I felt like taking 5 days to train was a little long, so I put on just one the first day and rewarded with a treat, then put on all 4, 3 days later and my pup instantly was walking around no problem. On a hot day and after a decent hike my pups paws are sweating inside the booties and Im sure the fact that I got the black ones doesnt help with that. We went on a hike where we had to cross a creek, he did flood his booties and by the end of the hike you couldnt even read the logo it was that covered in mud, so when I got home I tossed them in the washer and they were good as new!! Highly recommend them!! I got a size 7 for my 10 month yellow lab because I did want room if his nails get too long. They are not too big! Better to have a bigger shoe then too small!
Lauren Hutchison –
They keep his paws safe from the heat of Florida, he likes them. Easy to slip on, easy to clean. They work perfectly! Size:8 for my 100lbs GSD
brenda raushi –
Took these on vacation to north Carolina for my dog, they worked great on the hot pavement and sand. They worked great! No more burned paws.
Rebekah 209 –
Best dog booties. Had to include this picture of our human boy fishing with our dog boy in his Qumy boots. Last time they were out in that spot our dogs pads were ripped up. He couldnât walk for a day or two. He heals pretty quickly, but thereâs no need for that to begin with. These have saved his paws. Plus the company is super helpful and communicates really well.
DMH –
Nice dog boots. I really like these boots, they stay on good & they are more sturdy than other boots I’ve purchased, which seems to allow my dog walk better in them.
william voris –
Great for sensitive paws or dogs with grip issues. I bought the size 6 for my 90lb Golden Retriever. He has very sensitive paw pads as well as problems on any kind of slippery flooring (tile, lament, wood). Every time I need to take him to the vet I always have to wait with him outside because he literally can not stand on the tile flooring they have inside. These seem to work great on our lamented flooring at home. He finally has the grip he needs to not slide all over the place. They stay in place and are easy to put on and take off. They even come with a little booklet on how to train your dog to wear boots. I just got to the part where he is now getting use to wearing all 4 boots. Iâm very pleased so far and hope they work when we go to the vet or to keep his paws safe when we walk on the hot asphalt or concrete. I also like that there are two Velcro straps to help them stay on. Over all, Iâm happy with my purchase so far.
Apollo –
My two labs are mostly inside but when taking them for long walks their pads would get damaged and or burnt. With these on i can take my dogs outside and not worry about their pads.
Stacey Bowles –
Shoes are made great; very durable. I bought them for my senior dogâs knuckling/for traction. The size I originally ordered wasnât working out for her, so Qumy shipped another size for her to try, free of charge. Although they were not successful in helping her with these issues, this could just be an issue with my dog, as youâll notice many other reviews that prove the shoes are great for other dogs with similar problems.
Golden –
I have 100 pound golden doodle and 85 pound golden retriever. First I ordered the size 8 which was huge on both of them. Then I ordered a seven for my doodle and a six for my golden retriever, they both fit great. I have also noticed that on both my dogs their front paws are bigger than their back paws. I put the sevens on both of their front paws and the sixes on both of their back paws and that works great also. I especially like the middle piece of fabric which gives it more support in case it rips.
Carl Evans –
We have a 35 lb. Beagle. We ordered a size 5 and the boots fit her paws perfectly.
Aaron Nelson –
I like putting them in the washing machine when dirty. Easier than cleaning the dog!
Star –
I have a big energetic dog that loves to run, when I noticed he was wearing down the bottom of his paws. So I got him these doggie shoes. It took him a little time getting used to them but now he loves them. It also helps his paws when I take him for walks on hot days when the ground is Soo hot. Love the shoes!
J. Barry Burns –
Easy to put on, very waterproof, stays on even when walking through thick wet grass and fits the contour of our dog’s paw.
Christopher –
The shoes are great. They fit well and give my dog confidence again. The company QUMY is a great company too and listens to their customers.
Doberman pinscher that is 100lb needed a size 7
Anthony –
I have a 70lbs lab-retriever mix and live in Phoenix, AZ. It may still be hot outside, but my girl is protected!
She has little bear paws, so we measured as recommended and hesitantly ordered the suggested size – the largest available. We were surprised that they fit exactly as they should!
The video quality isn’t super (I’m sorry!), but you’ll see my happy Tiful doing quite well on her way to do her business.
We did use the instructions for how to train your dog to be okay wearing them, but I think that the most important thing for us was to actually go on a walk in them. After a few awkward steps, she did great! Tiful is also a super-beta dog. She walks to her leash to go out, and as soon as she sees the shoes come out, lays down so that we can put them on. She then hops up to go. She lays down again to have them taken off when we come home, we take them off, and she gets an ice cube treat.
Izzy’sMom –
My senior Old English Sheepdog is loving these shoes! Heâs had some health issues and difficulty getting up and walking but these shoes have made a world of difference. They stay on well and give him the grip he needs on tile floors. I highly recommend them!
luv2shop –
Cute Dog shoes! I bought these for my niece’s dog. She has a fairly large dog so I bought a size 7. They fit perfectly. The dog took awhile to get used to them, but now has no problem walking with them on when they go for hikes.
H Dav –
Great for my dog walking on hot asphalt
Hope this helps out….Bob
Bethany Ottens –
My dog was able to run on hot sand all day without hurting her paws. They didnât let in much sand either. She loves her boots!
She did walk funny at first, but the package included instructions on training your dog to get comfortable in the boots which really helped!
Rahul R Pavanan –
My pup took about 3 minutes to get used to these booties. But after that she’s totally fine wearing the booties. She wears them during car rides so that she doesn’t scratch the seats and has never complained when I put them on.
Rachel Melotik –
Easy to put on and take off. Haven’t tried them in the water quite yet, but looking forward to it. They came with very helpful instructions to slowly introduce your pup to the idea of wearing shoes to make it a positive experience for them. Highly recommend this product. The screen showing how to measure your pup’s paw was extremely helpful in choosing the size and it seems to be a perfect fit.
SCOTT –
I bought these for my service dog because of the summer heat in Florida, He loves them
worldtravler –
Took my dog Oliver just one day to love his shoes! I put the front ones on first.. Then after awhile just the back, Finally all four!
The pavement is so hot here in Florida this should be an essential for all dogs who walk on the hot pavement. He even had no trouble doing his “business”! This was taken less then 24 hours after arrival. The treats did help lol!!
EDL –
These bought my aging poodle and extra month of life. He wore them inside as well as out– we took them off at night. They helped him get up and down on wood floors and minimized the risk of falls. Better than the hospital socks for dogs because they can be worn outdoors.
victoria baclig –
These are great! Very durable, waterproof, and comfortable (which it seems). Only thing I would comment on is that there is no opening for air. I feel like it may get hot inside of the boot ( especially if you live in the south like me). But other than that they do NOT fall off and each bootie has 2 velcroâs to secure them.
Melissa P. –
I appreciated the instructions to ensure we were successful getting her “boots ” on. After following the instructions for our nervous golden, we were off and running in 5 days. Now she is super excited to wear them and they stay in place! Very happy, and her feet will be when we need to go places in 110°F.
Caroline1 –
Very well made doggy boots. I was impressed by the thoughtful, compassionate instructions which explained how to gradually coax my dog to wear these boots. Be sure to measure your dogâs foot before you order, donât guess about the size.
VB –
Finally Dog Boots that stay on. These boots actually stay on on our 1 hr long jogs. I had to adjust them a few times in the beginning and if you don’t put them on tight enough, they do fall off, but if you put them on right, they should stay on.
Joey Robinson –
I purchased these for our 15 year old boxer. He recently has been struggling to walk on our hard wood and tile floors. I tried buying carpet runners but could not cover the entire area (much less it didnât look good). After reading reviews I decided to give these a try. I was skeptical because we tried some dog socks before and they did not stay on well. I ordered a size 6 for our Brasco but Iâm wondering if I should have went one size smaller because I have to wrap the Velcro all the way around. It comes with four shoes but I only use two on his back paws. He doesnât seem to mind wearing them at all and they stay on great. The best part is that he is now able to walk without slipping and sliding. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
Matthew and Elizabeth Silvey –
The quality is very nice but my dog needs to wear more so she gets used to them. I bought for summer on hot days. The concret gets very hot. I just hope she doesn’t get too hot with them.
Jess –
I was blown away at how well these boots worked! We just moved to an area where it actually snows in the winter and I was worried about my dogs paws since itâs not weather heâs ever been around. The first night we used them they stayed on (just make sure you cinch them snug enough) and his feet were completely dry after a 15 minute zoomie session in the snow! The size 6 worked well for him, heâs a 65lbs cattle dog and has medium sized paws!
Cozet –
We have bought these shoes for a second time and still love the shoes. I purchased the updated versions that have anti-slipping. I do like they are for rainy days and hot summer days.
charles minasian –
My Lilly loves these. She is very allergic to wet grass and when I put them on she acts like a puppy again. She is a nervous licker so when she wonât stop licking her paws I put them for a bit to make her stop. It keeps her from causing welts.
Michelle B –
The boots are amazing. I have a Portuguese Water Dog, and she loves them. I really like the customer service as well, I contacted this company for something specific and they answered my message very nicely.
Senior Chuck –
Our poodle was a little against the idea of these when we first put them on, but as soon as he realized he could go in the snow without getting frozen paws, he could care less that he had them on.
little wise one –
Used them as a cover for bandages on a paw pad injury. They worked okay I just switched them out and washed them.
Julie N. –
My 13 year old choc lab has issues standing up or remaining in a sit without sliding. In a house with all hardwood floors, itâs an issue. Vet suggested lift harnessing, but I canât slide a lift under a 110lb dog. These have been great. We only use them on his front feet. He learned very quickly and adjusted without issue. These give him what he needs to be able to sit and stand without sliding. Odd we donât let him wear them outside, but he keeps them on most of the day in the house. Heâs a great dog and we tell him he looks cool. These let him keep him dog independence just a little while longer.
rebelstreet72 –
These are sized just right. Dogs are funny when boots are applied but our girl is fine wearing around the house first. They did not come off in the snow!
Genie G –
I mean, my Standard Poodle is by no means happy to wear these shoes, but she still lets me put them on her and she keeps them on. I think she knows itâs for her own good, lol. Comfort wise I donât think sheâs too comfortable in them because she lets me put almost anything on her, but she tries to hide as soon as these shoes come out. They do, however, go on easily and stay on her when sheâs running around. I donât let her out in the rain without these shoes on. For reference she is 45lbs and a size 6 fit her skinny legs perfectly.

Our yellow lab has two cuts on his feet that did not heal properly. The pads sort of grew back together improperly and keep opening back up. Without the boots you can tell it hurts him because he limps. With the boots, epsom salt soaks, and triple antibiotic ointment applied to the pad before putting the boots on, he is doing much much better. Have tried several brands of boots in the past and these are the best by far. They do not “spin” around like the others so he always walks on the treaded bottom

Surprisingly- she doesnât hate them!?!? Not a huge fan- but- tired of cleaning muddy paws and mopping floors!! So- this was my solution!! Has worked pretty well- they stay on pretty well- sheâll throw one every once in awhile on a mad chase after a squirrel but overall- pleased!
Lisa W –
Quality dog boots. We needed a solution to Rusty’s raw paws when out ice fishing with my husband. They would bleed and he would lick them excessively. Found it in these boots. They are quality made and sturdy. I gave 5 stars overall even though we’ve only had them on Rusty twice. They did EXACTLY when we needed them for. Do yourself a favor and measure your dogs paws (directions on the site) before ordering. My take? WELL worth the price.
Jo Beretta –
These are great and I’m so happy we ordered them. For our furbabies, we have to put them on tight around their legs so they don’t slide off. A little more than I wanted to spend, but worth it because we can use them for all types of environments, not just the cold and snow.

Aloha dog owners, our 11+ yo GSD has started knuckling under and wearing down his nails, plus getting nicks and scrapes on his knuckles. We researched the QUMY shoes and bought size 8 for our boy (93 lbs). The instructions for adoption were great, but our boy immediately took to wearing the booties. On his first walks it was immediately apparent he appreciated both the grip of the shoe but also the protection. He just seems more confident and aware of the shoes, so has started walking more quickly, even trotting. They are easy to put on and clean up quickly. He’s had them for over a week now and gets excited when he sees us getting them from the shoe rack. Thank you QUMY!
Matthew Berti –
I was skeptical with the shoes being low-tops but as long as you put them on your dog really tight they arenât coming off. Very durable, good product.
Kim Jong-Un –
Great dog snow boots! Great snow boots for dogs! Bought these for my frenchbulldog and they work perfect for him in the winter!
Janice Morgan-Lentz –
My lab had a serious injury to her paw requiring surgery and the boots enabled us to take her outside for obvious needs without worry about a post op infection.
Laurie M –
We bought for our indoor dog before beginning a hiking schedule. We followed the directions carefully, introducing slowly, using treats and positive encouragement. She did great practicing around the yard, a bit awkward at first. Her first hike went perfect and her paw pads were protected. These work amazingly!
Ira –
My lab and I run together. My lab wears these well. As the video shows, he needed to transition into them the first couple times but adapted well. He does love to run! When you put the shoes on the paws, the 2 velcro straps help keep them in place. We have ran 20+ miles already and they hold up as expected and have not fallen off! Follow the instructions to find your canine’s size and order!!

product works well and easy to put on

Great to keep paws clean and dry
Norma H. Sword –
Our dog, a working border collie, had an injured foot which needed to be kept dry. After wrapping in 2 freezer bags, with limited success, I ordered these boots and the one I used worked perfectly!
Joselyn –
My dog loves chasing the birds in our yard and these do NOT come off. They are very secure and seem pretty comfortable. She let’s me put them on and does not try to take them off so it let’s me know she does not feel any pain or discomfort wearing them. I have a 50lb pitbull/lab mix and the size 7 fit her amazingly.
carla baker –
Our dog had to get used to them, only took about 15 minutes. We are using them so he doesnât scratch the hardwood floors. Works GREAT!!
Kie R –
Like how easy they are to put on & take off. My bubs was able to walk & play normally in these. Great for Wisconsin winters & rainy days in general! 80-100lb pitbull or pitbull mix should get size 7!
Laura –
I donât really now how water proof these are only because my dogs feet still get wet with these on. However, I was really happy with this purchase regardless because it keeps their paws safe from ice, gravel, salt, and other winter elements when out for walks. Definitely would recommend these.
Donald W Locke –
My dog is old and has hip issues and problems with slippery floors, so I bought these. He took to them right away, but because he normally drags his feet, they made him stumble.
T. Hoang –
My older dog has gotten a neurological disorder as of late, which causes his brain to not know the placement of his hind right leg. As a result he can’t / doesn’t know how to walk on his paws and instead plants his leg on the closed paw (like a closed fist) or knuckle. Back in July, I noticed blood from his toes, as it turned out, he was dragging his toes and filing down his toe nail to the quick, thus causing the bleed. Originally got the shoes to protect his toes and let the toenail grow out. One side benefit was the shoe kept the foot position in the proper poster. But as the disorder worsen, he is dragging this toes sometime now.
About QUMY, the first order was too large, even after measuring them like QUMY suggested. QUMY customer was superb, they send out a new smaller size to us after I contacted them. Excellent customer service, can’t thank them enough.
About the shoes, the two straps of velcro on each shoes was nice touch which made adjustments easy, and one of them had reflectors on them. We do lots of night walks so appreciate the extra visibility it gives. Walking on wet grass just gets the canvas shell wet, and so is the outer fur underneath the canvas, so not waterproof at all. But I knew that going into the purchase, so no surprise there, and met my expectation. The rubber sole is extra soft, and wore down too quickly. Out everyday walks is about a mile in length, the patterns on the bottom of the shoe was almost gone in about 2.5 weeks. The tread pattern was not deep, about 2 millimeters thick. But we only use two shoes (hind legs) at a time, so I expect the 4-shoes to last us about 3-6 months. The teeth side of the velcro is located on the shoe, while the loop side is on the straps. We found that with the teeth side on the shoe, it picks up lots of dog hairs, dried grass clipping, and everything else that can be gathered by the teeth. Once the teeth are full, the loop straps will have a difficult time adhering to them, so it does requires cleaning of the teeth side of the velcro with a hard brush. I did throw it in the washing machine once to clean up the shoes; came out clean, but the velcro will stick to other garments, FYI. Try putting them in a small pillow case or fabric bag first before machine wash.
Tips: I tried putting the shoes in the house before heading out, but found it a bit counter productive, if you have carpet runners in the house. The velco on the shoes (not the straps) can get snag on the carpet and hold the shoes, leaving your dog shoeless until you realizes that it was snagged by the carpet. So how, I take him outside and then put on the shoes.
I bought an additional pair in anticipation that this pair will disintegrate soon. The shoe has shown a lot of wear and tear on them already, but has served its purpose of protecting the toe nails and preventing more damage to knuckles of the feet. The vet says that it is really hard to heal the knuckles if they were to bleed, due to constant movement. Preventative medicine.
After six months, my dog is using a doggie wheel chair now, and he’s actually doing short runs with the shoes on too. Toe nails and knuckles are still in great shape. He’s a much happier dog now, able to roam the neighborhood once more. So am I, and ready to acquire a second pair soon. Thanks QUMY, â and by the way, can you make a thicker rubber sole too.
Sue D –
My dog cut his paw and needed to have it covered to go outside. These were perfect!
Review Guy –
They work well, but could use a little more agressive tread for snow and ice.
Todd Matthews –
These would have been perfect, if they would have fit my dog properly. I first ordered one size, and they didn’t seem like a good fit, so ordered a size up. They were too big. We just could get them to stay on, so returned both sizes. They are made very well, however, so maybe our dog just was the wrong size from foot to ankle.
AnneM. Christian –
Overall I am very pleased with these, they offer great protection. My dog doesn’t mind wearing them, although I do have to watch that they don’t fall off. They are very well made and all is as described.
Martim F. Lucena –
She walked funny with them, I guess it’s getting use to shoes on her feet for the first time…sturdy piece of equipment though.
Miranda H –
These dog booties are the best that we’ve purchased thus far. We have two labs that we take up hiking a lot. We have purchased several diffrent brands and most of them were poor quality. The only con we have with this particular bootie is the velcro straps are fraying and tearing with only 4 uses. I think they need to use a heavier thread around the velcro closure area.
Eric –
Look and feel really nice, as far as getting them on the dogs foot, that is a problem
Jay F. –
Our dog took to these immediately and it has saved us tons of time not having to wipe his feet! Not to mention he looks quite fancy now as well.
Mandy Tellez-Duran –
Great dog boots. Surprisingly these work great! They have two sets of Velcro to strap them on & I was pretty impressed. Her boot only came off like twice, but I feel like it was more user error & we were hiking through some very thick mud. But she did not get her feet muddy & was pretty clean for the ride home. Would recommend.
Bill Tonn –
They appear to comfortable on the dog’s feet, and are well made .
Nicole Kennedy –
I absolutely love these boots! I have a golden doodle and an Aussie doodle. Itâs been really rainy and if they go out bare pawed they come home and make a mess of the floor. If itâs very wet, theyâre not waterproof, but theyâre paws still seem pretty dry.
Iâve also washed and dried them many times and itâs not affected them.
Anjela Roberts –
Very nice quality boot! These sellers are very kind and care about their customers!

Great boys for my dog. I use them to go hiking and now to walk him on my skateboard
Janlyn Myers –
Finally! Something that works! Thank you so much for making these.
Myia S –
I have a Pitbull and he often hurts his nails because he digs them into the ground when playing. These shoes were a lifesaver! He didnt walk all funny once they were on and they do not fall off. He plays in his shoes and goes on long walks/runs. Very durable and comfortable. Awesome purchase! I did a size 6 for Charlie and they fit perfectly!
Steve Mark –
Very secure and comfortable. Easy to put on

Nice Kicks for Our Labradoodle. Very good service from the manufacturer if you have an issue. The size 5 worked well for our smaller (25lb) labradoodle. These are pretty durable. The reflectors are very helpful to find the shoes if one falls off.
Crystal C –
Great customer service!! These boots were the right size for my dog (40 lb mini goldendoodle) but in the snow and with all her energy, three of the four boots slipped off in a 10 minute span, so they werenât the best for my hyper dog in Utah with all the snow (2 ft!), but if youâre just going for a walk or hike, theyâd be perfect! Theyâre durable and the Velcro makes it easy to put on. Definitely recommend.
DasWhaImado –
I have a very active 12 month old Labradoodle that is sixty (60) pounds. He loves to be outside, even when it is cold. Unfortunately, his feet are constantly muddy. He is also white. When he comes back in, he tracks dirt, mud and water from every hole he dug while outdoors. I tried several other pairs of shoes. These are the only ones that stay on his feet. As soon as you open the bottom, you can tell how well made and durable they are. THe bottoms are pretty hard. Since my guy’s feet are so large, there is a lot of fold-in around his legs. The shos are made for that. The double velcro keeps him from running them off. He is never going to love having to wear shoes but he does not hate these.
Pam –
They work wonderful . Rottie house here . Huge help for protecting a pad injury . Make sure you measure the paw as recommended .

Dog booties that work. The main problem for my dog, a 50 pound hound-shepherd mix, is not the snow and ice but the large quantities of salt that get spread on the streets and sidewalks where I live (New England.) I tried many different brands of booties with very mixed results until I tried the QUMY ones. They flat out work. The pros: Easy to get on. A wide opening and no gaiter allows them to slip right on. They stay on. Cinch the two velcro straps up tight and they stay on well. They absolutely cure the salt problem. The bottom rubber sole is waterproof. The uppers are only water resistant. Still, they keep the salt at bay and that is what counts for me. My dog has worn them about a dozen times so far and they are holding up well. Cons: Only one. Because they are short and have no gaiter, snow and ice can work its way over the top into the bootie. Not a big deal for me or my dog but it might be for others. Another note: The sizing system worked for my dog. He took a medium. Overall, an excellent product.
Ghozt –
These protect my dog’s paws very well and allows her to walk on snow. They dry quickly and have good adjustability. Great product.
Andreina Curiel –
Ok honest review … bought these for my grand dog … simply to protect his paws when walking around San Fran… I worried about his paws and his health … they work great …
warren strudwick –
Overall they worked perfectly by allowing our elderly German Shepherd to walk better. He has better traction on his front paws and this allows him to get up to a standing position although his hind legs are weak and now uncoordinated. His quality of life has been enhanced tremendously.
Marla Dawson –
The product is amazing however the size was way off. I tried my best to measure but it didn’t work out on my end-too big. Will try and find ups to return and reorder.
Rosalee Gale –
We love the boots because they are easy to put on and seemed comfortable to Bailey. Unfortunately , they have already holes in them. Don’t seem too sturdy.
Branden Henrichs –
Surprisingly my dog doesn’t mind me putting these on his paws when there is snow out lol. approved. size worked good too.
Danni Wilson –
They are well made and do work when it’s freezing outside and my pup just wants to go out for a quick bathroom break. Overall, he just would prefer not to wear them, but they do help him in extreme cold and snow.
Richard –
These dog boots have worked out really well so far. They are a must have for an active dog living in MN during winter. They fit nice and stay on if tightened right. Good value.
Barb –
I bought these for my lab who had broken a toenail. After getting it cut way back, I put a boot on her injured foot when she played outside in the snow. Worked very well to protect her foot.
kelly Gibson –
High quality dog boots. The boots are really nice and fit him perfectly! However, one boot came off while he was running and playing with my other dog in the snow. I suppose I didn’t strap that one tight enough. He was quite squirmy while I was putting them on.
Sandy H –
My German Shepherd dog loves these. I followed the training directions. I aired out the boots for a few days and wrapped them in a worn shirt so they would smell like me (scent is important to German shepherds). I then slowly introduced him to the boots. He thought they were chew toys at first. After realizing that he gets to be out on hikes longer, he really took to the boots! Tip: adjust the straps so they fit snugly, they fell off a few times but we got the hang of it! Great product for Chicago weather! I ordered the largest possible size for my 80 pound baby.
jb –
I used them on my dog’s front paws because she was having some issues with her pads. She wore them when we ran in the snow and on pavement, and hiking in the woods in deep snow. A great purchase!
Venus –
Iâd say the shoes themselves are great but my dogs front dew claws are either tucked in or resting on the rimâand neither are comfortable for my buddy. I used self adhesive athletic wrap and doggy which seemed to help this issue. Wanted to let other pet parents know in case they had similar issues!
dean fluss –
My Sadie is always having paw problems . These help prevent licking the wound . They fit well but she has got them off after a bit . Still work pretty good .
Janelle Johnston –
My dog wears these all the time in our house. They are also great for the snow and ice. This is his second pair since the Velcro wore out on the others. These boots are EXTREMELY durable.
Danielle Tebbe –
Bought these for my puppy in the winter weather for when we go for walks. His feet are sensitive and these boots helped him get through our routine walks! They seem to be water resistant and very durable as he likes to jump in and out of the snow.
Rachel Figoli –
We bought these for my dog who cut her paw on something outside. She needs bandages and due to the winter weather we didnât want them to get soaked and her wound dirty. These boots did the job of keeping her wound and bandage dry. Only downfall is due to her being so rambunctious she did get the boot off while running outside once, and snow did manage to get inside the boot despite it being fastened super tight. Other than that, it serves its purpose and was easy to gauge size based on the instructions.
Debora A Doubrava –
Once my dog has had a full winter of use I will know more about how the boots hold up but at first use they look to be of sturdy material.
Natalia Pineda –
Awesome boots for rainy and snowy days. It protects my dog paws really well and the company helped me a lot trying to get the correct size
Rams Moon –
These have worked wonderfully for my dog who I recently found out is allergic to the world. Every grass and fungus known by man. He also chews his feet raw. So he wears these outside and in. The only issue is that he still had his dewclaws and apparently all boots will rub these raw. So have started to wrap his as many others do, which I have found with research. So just a forewarning, as I didnât know this and the poor guy was limping after a few weeks.
Andreav –
My dog has DM and these are the best lasting dog booties that stay on the best that i’ve tried. We buy them over and over again.
Juan V. –
Good (more affordable) Ruffwear Alternative. Although it only lasted me a few months, I must say these ‘dog sneakers’ are pretty good for what it’s worth. My dog destroyed them cause he’s a nut job and can’t contain his excitement so the shoes spin around his paws and the tops gets scraped on the concrete; thus pulverizing it. However just on regular normal walks and wear, it stays on and keeps dry. We bought the $80 Ruffwear and didn’t see much of difference (which also got destroyed in the similar manner) so this is definitely a better buy. I wish the logo wasn’t so garish but I’m 80/20ing it. Love the reflective band too.
George kaaihue –
Our pup know that when we pull out her boots, it means she is going to have some fun outside. It has kept mud out of our home during this snowy season.
Sanssouci –
I have a 50 lb. yellow lab. Her paws were just above the measurements for a size 6 so I went with a 7. When I received them they were too big and a little wide as she has more narrow paws. I contacted the seller and they sent me a size 6 at no added cost which fit perfectly. Great customer service. My dog is a lunatic and loves to run and the 6’s stay on perfectly without restricting her movement in any way.
Rob –
We purchased these shoes to protect our dogs feet from standing on the lake ice, I had measured her front feet and ordered accordingly,, but when they arrived the back shoes were too big,, so measure both front and back B4 ordering,, they seem great it took about a week to get here to walk well with them
Joe D –
We have a border collie that loves to run and the snow and ice were hurting his paws. Since using these he is able to sprint to his hearts desire and experiences no pain.
Michelle –
These dog boots are great for walking my dog in really cold temps (gets down to single digits or lower where I live), on ice and playing in the snow! I would definitely recommend these for anyone who lives in a cold place.
I appreciated that there were training instructions that came with the boots. The instructions say to take a week for training, but my dog got used to them in 4-5 days using treats, letting him smell them and starting with one boot on then adding one more boot each day. We let him run around the house first to get used to them before going outside. The first couple times he had all 4 on, he got a little panic-y/had zoomies. But, now that he’s figured out walking/running in them and that they kept his paws warm, he loves them!
My dog is a 40 pound border collie mix and I got the size 6. They fit well and as everyone else says, you need to strap them on a little tighter than you think to make sure they don’t fly off. As long as your dog doesn’t show discomfort (biting at them to get them off), it shouldn’t bother your dog.

I haven’t had the chance to give it an actual try in the tank yet, but it appears to have good quality netting. The wire in the netting is flexible enough to be warped if you put enough pressure on it. The telescope function works seamlessly. It matches the description. Great size for nano fish.
