Not only does this prevent snow packing in my lab’s paws but it prevents the burn from rock salt after the snow has melted on the sidewalk. Even though his toenails might poke through once in a while, his paws are still protected.

My dog has a nerve disease and drags his feet. With heavier booties he trips, surprisingly these are sturdy and easy to put on and off. He has front dew claws, and they are easy and comfortable for him.

A perfect paw protector for our boxer. Nice snug fit without it being too tight. High quality product which I highly recommend.

These were just what I needed for my old dog. He slips and can’t get up. I used them when visiting the vet because of their slippery floors. They stay on well and they didn’t seem to bother him. He is a husky/retreiver mix and a large dog. These fit just right.

Worked for our day at the lake. Kept paws safe, cool, and prevented nails from busting any of our floats.

I bought this product to help my dog have traction on our tile floors. So far so good. Easy to put on and he was walking immediately without any hesitation.

We’ve used these wonderful booties for four years now. Our maltipoo pup is 9 pounds. She’s a tiny little thing.

These will stay on if you get the right size. If they skip off, go down a size until you get the right snug, but not restricted fit

We live downtown where there’s no grass and the booties generally lasted us 3-4 weeks for each set (four booties). So we’d get about three months from a pack.

But recently we started tossing the used set after two weeks. This ensures that the booties have maintained their efficacy and we no get ripped.

Tip: keep your pup’s nails cut down and smooth to ensure the integrity of the booties

Tip: your pup will not like these. Our pup didn’t at first. You have to realize pups use their paws to navigate their surroundings like we use our eyes. But after persistent use (a coupe months), she finally wore them without being upset.

Tip: to apply, we sit our pup on our lap with paws facing outward. Then slip the booty on by stretching the booty while guiding the booty on. Be sure not to get stray nails caught on the side or behind paw. To remove stretch booty will guiding it off. Please don’t just pull off. It’ll snag their fur and cause pain

My dog does not love her balloons. It is possible for one person to put them on her, but easier as a 2-person job. They do a great job, though, when it comes to protecting her paws out in the ice. She doesn’t like them when we put them on, but runs happily all over the place out in the cold. They last through several uses, but make sure to get the right size and be aware that if you don’t keep your dog’s nails trimmed regularly, they will punch through the balloons. Once there’s a rip, the foot cover is ruined. These are not regular balloons, those won’t work–these are a little thicker, but they have bigger necks. The best way to put them on is to have someone hold the dog in the air, and 2nd person stretch the neck of the balloon and push it on over the foot, then release pressure on the balloon neck. Be careful not to catch the dewclaw and pull it backwards, ouch! They stay on well, yet are easy to take off with a quick foot yank when your pup races back in for treat time. They wash up easily, too. These work much better for us than any other puppy foot coverings we’ve gotten–especially puppy boots that have rubber soles, because those tend to twist. We have always had small dogs, though. Maybe boots work better on big dogs? In any case, I highly recommend these balloony things, and when the temperature drops below 15 degrees F, our dog isn’t going outside without them!

Living in Las Vegas makes it difficult to walk our pup during the hot months so we knew we needed to get his paws some protection. These have been the best we have found. They’re pretty easy to put on (definitely need more than 1 person) our dog was a little hesitant when we first put them on, but who’s dog wouldn’t be, but the moment we got outside, he was running as fast as he could. I love knowing his little paws have some protection so he can still get his daily walk. They’re customer service team was amazing as well. I would definitely recommend.

My dog was scratching too much so we needed these for her. The directions for the fitting and sizing were easy and they fit perfectly. The only thing is because she’s desperate to get them off, she ripped a pair. They’re really good!

I have a14 year old, 14 pound shih tzu named Diesel.
I ordered an Xsmall based on measurements.

Honestly, he doesn’t particularly like them…BUT he doesn’t like any shoe, so his opinion is trumped by me.

I think because these are snug around the ankle they bother him a little bit BUT unlike other shoes: they are easy to get on and off, he doesn’t slip or walk funny, they stay on, you can wash them or toss them and they keep his feet clean.
I like in downtown Oakland, who knows what filth is on the streets and being brought into the house. I have a no shoes allowed rule, it only seemed fitting that Diesel would get shoes too because his fluffy paws were turning gray after one walk YUK. Washing him after several outings a day is not practical given how fluffy he is. This “shoe” is awesome.
My only concern is that if you have a dog with cankles…. thick ankles (like a dauchson, basset hound, or bull dog) it could possibly cut off the circulation, but worth a try!

I have used these for years for my Maltese Shithzu 10 pounder. They are the only boots that stay on his feet. They’re great for cold weather and for keeping salt out of your dog’s paws. A 12 pack gets me 5 winters or so.

Good product great for a muddy yard easy to clean. The bands stay up and don’t slide down sometimes I get concerned that the bands are too tights though around the top of the boot.

I get multiple uses out of these! Winter walks are now a thing. My dog has never been able to keep booties on and hates walking in the snow. She is a very relaxed dog so they are easy to put on her but if you have a wild dog it may be an issue. She got used to them very quickly and likes them now!

YES, these are essentially balloons. Really thick balloon material that can stretch over your dog’s paw & provide traction while your dog can still feel the floor under their feet. If you want something your dog can HIKE in or wear in the snow – these are NOT for you. My Pug, Annabelle, had a stroke when she was very young & has significant mobility issues …. these help her to get traction on the floor without her legs scooting out from underneath her. I tried the kind of shoes you’d get your dog for hiking or walking in rocky areas, but they were too cumbersome for her. These are PERFECT. She can run in these because she’s sure of her footing. I’m absolutely & completely happy with my purchase & will purchase again & again. Be aware that you cannot leave these on when your dog is sleeping …. they can cut off the circulation & cause their paws to swell. I made a tiny slit in the cuff of the X-small because it was too tight for Annabelle’s ankles. Unlike a balloon, this material won’t rip at the cut when stretched to put over her foot.

For our little dog these were great. We tried them out in the house before going out and she absolutely loves them. It gave her traction on the wood floors and she ran around like a maniac.

I’ve used in the past & ALWAYS my go to footwear for rain; salt; snow & mud for my furbaby! It’s a reassurance that if she licks her paws I don’t have to worry what’s she’s ingesting plus they stay on with her skinny ankles! Worth it

I tried at least six different types of paw coverings for our rat terrier so that walking through salted slushy snow in the winter would be more comfortable for him. None of the others stayed on and they weren’t waterproof. I saw these and tried them and have used them ever since. There is a bit of a learning curve to putting them on and off, but my dog was good about it and we have it down now. He wasn’t fond of them the first few times he wore them, but now he is used to them and he runs and walks in the deep snow no problem. He will walk long distances in very cold weather and through salted slush as well. They are kind of slippy on ice though as they don’t have any strong tread on the bottom. I also have to keep his nails trimmed up well with them too or the sharp tips will poke through the rubber and they will leak. Other than that these are the best bootie we’ve tried so far.

We live in a city where the winter is not so friendly (cold and humid) and I was searching for something to help our small girl to keep her foot dry, clean and warm, and away from bacterias and dirty.
This product arrived in Brazil very early than expected (almost a week in advance) and definitely was a great choice.
She felt strange at the beginning, but after a short while she was walking and running normally.
After our first experience outside, this was what we prevent to come inside our home protecting her health (and ours).

Just a little hard to take off when they are brand new. Have to be careful you dont pull them cause it can pull your dog’s hair also.

My 10 pound Pom had a horrible time in the deep freeze last winter in Chicago. The cold and salt on his feet was so painful he couldn’t walk. I saw other dogs with these and purchased. My little guy thought they were weird, but I think he actually liked the protection and did just fine. He pranced a bit at first. But then walked normal.
I highly recommend. So does he.
One more thing, I didn’t find they were easy to get on. Not by myself. I bought the plastic tool but it didn’t work for me.
So, My husband held a foot and I stretched the bootie over. If you have a helper, it’s great!

Even though they look like a balloon, and I thought of it as “disposable”, they are quite durable. My dog drags one foot due to injury, and I needed some kind of protection for when we were walking. The top of her foot would get scrapes. These little rubber things last for over four “hard” uses. They are easy to put on and take off.

My 14 year old jack russell terrier has neurological issues with balance and coordination and couldn’t walk on my tile floors because he didn’t have any traction, he kept falling and his paws would slide out from under him. I put these on and he’s getting around wonderfully! I’m so happy! If you’re using inside for extended periods use a hole punch to put a couple of holes in the top for ventilation.

This tool makes it so much easier to get these booties on dogs. It is very easy to use the tool. I’m so glad I don’t have to rely on pulling these rubber booties over my dogs paws which takes a lot of time but most importantly hurts the dog. A genius who invented this!!

These are awesome. I needed something to keep the salt from burning his feet while at work with me. After an initial WTH MOM, he got over it and enjoyed running around outside before finally getting too cold. They never budged. I bought a size xs and they fit perfectly for my 15 pound mutt.

These are the first ‘snow boots’ that he kept on through the whole walk. They protected his fee through the chemical melting solution.

Super hard to get in his feet, (I’m 74 and not the strongest person), but worth it.

I’m re-ordering these in a smaller size, because the ones I had were originally for a different dog and were too big for the the current dog. It takes a couple of tries to get used to putting them on and for the dog to get used to wearing them, but it’s definitely worth the effort if your walks include salt-treated sidewalks that hurt dogs’ feet.

These are the only booties that will stay on my dog’s feet. She is a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix, so has small legs and every other kind of boot falls off, no matter how tightly I cinch them. I bought a package about 5 years ago and had to buy a new set now only because my cat got into the older ones and ripped them up. These do not add warmth, but they keep snow and salt out of my dog’s paws, allowing her to actually walk the entire time. They also give her more grip on ice, so she has better traction than I do.

I love these booties and so do my 2 miniature poodles. I live in Chicago where the streets and sidewalks are covered with snow and salt from Nov.-April and these booties protect my dogs paws and don’t fall off. I’ve bought much more expensive dog boots that didn’t work half as well because they wouldn’t stay on small paws.

This dog boot saved our doggie, and I’m so grateful for it that I had to write this review. We adopted a yorkie with a limp a year and a half ago. He has a crooked front leg, and runs by slightly dragging his bad knuckle along the pavement. When we first got him, we didn’t notice anything wrong. One day I saw blood on the floor, and found that his knuckle had been scraped raw and was bleeding. Also, he became less and less interested in walking, and gaining more and more weight, which is bad for his limp. We had to drag, cajole, and bribe him to walk everyday. I first bought those dog booties that has two velcro straps for him. He hated them and wanted to walk even less. If I velcro them too tight, it presses into his bones at the bend. If I velcro is loose, it falls out before we even cross the street. All the while I kept thinking to myself, all we need is an extra skin for him, to protect his knuckles. Saw this on one of the dog booties review, and decided to give it a try. Our doggie did not like us to put it on at first (it does require some practice), but now he would lie down and let us do it without a struggle. We’ve been using it for a little over a month now. They NEVER fall off, and they have protected his foot for every walk. He wears only one at a time, only on the bad foot. He began to love walks again, and we can now walk for twice as long as we did a few months ago.

When we first got it, my husband laughed and said they’re just expensive balloons. Now he no longer laughs. This bootie has given my dog back to me. I am so thankful for the people who came up with it. Thank you.

People are always stopping me to ask about my dog shoes. Sometimes I hear people say snarky things as I pass. So, I wanted to share with all of you. My dogs love these shoes. Just now we were on our way to the pet store, I opened the front door and both dogs stopped in their tracks. “We are not going”, they seemed to say. I turned around and got the shoes. I put them on their feet and off we went. Now I am home from the store and neither dog wants their shoes off. Why? because it is hot! and the shoes protect their feet. I love them and so do Jilly and Gracie, my 2 smart dogs. FYI today it is 108°. I also use these shoes to prevent stickers, thorns and other nasty things one may find on trails and city streets. I use the same ones over and over again and only need to replace them when I lose one. They are a tremendous value and much less expensive here on Amazon then in stores. My dogs just now went back outside happy to be wearing shoes.
