Shoes fit my rottie perfect! He got used to them right away. Walked in them very naturally. We walked to the lake and back on Rocky terrain and you could tell he was so happy to protect his feet. Only one came off in sticky mud, but if I stepped in it mine would too.
Leo and Maria –
While Harley, our dog, is not completely used to these shoes, I know it protects her feet. We live in the Mojave desert so the ground gets extremely hot out here. Now that we’re moving into winter, she’ll need them to protect her from the cold as well.. But overall, I would highly recommend getting these for your pups.
Danielle –
Size 8 are great. I would definitely recommend these. Wee have a 90 pound Lab and these are great for him. We use them all year round. We live in a state with all four seasons. In the spring and fall it helps keep his paws clean, in the summer it protects his paws from the hot asphalt while on walks, and in the winter it helps protect his paws from the ice/snow. The only weakness I have noticed from the boots is that the plastic piece holding the strap sometimes breaks and sometimes he will rip through seams in the front. I would recommend these for sure, we have tried several different brands before we found these and these have far surpassed those other brands.
Carol Nayes –
We purchased these boots for our 90 pound Labrador to protect his feet while hunting. We got a size 8 and it fits him very well. They have enough space that they don’t pinch his toes but not so much that he is tripping over his feet. The boots stayed on for a full day of pheasant hunting in some very brushy terrain. We had a problem with the sole of one boot but qumy was quick to respond to our concerns and make it right. I would purchase these boots again.
Juliane Boselli –
Purchased size 6 for our mature 60lb Buddy the “Dalmador”, with weak rear legs due to neurological decay, to enhance his remaining time with us. While this “cross trainer” shoe is bit of an overkill for inside use, Buddy no longer slips on the tile and other surfaces. No issues with rear legs adapting to the shoe. However, with the front paws booted, Buddy is not accepting them well but in time he will.
Previously used the stick on paw pad type, which while they provided similar stability and confidence on slick floors they didn’t last long enough. Also previously tried the balloon type, but those are awful – difficult, ugly, and make for sweaty feet.
sonia lenter –
These weyeasy enough to get on my WillieG and he really didn’t mind them, once he figured out he could run in them, he loves the snow and this reduces alot of what he’d drag inside. I look forward to summer walks, with the reflective strips. The only set back, he happens to have a toe deform, and I have to set that boot just right to not come off. Really a good product for big dog feet!!!
Cindy C Deckinger –
Size 6, easy to put on our 110 pound labrador. We love these dog boots. Very easy to put on our Labrador. Once on they stay on. Must be comfortable, our dog does not try pulling off or biting at. Durability- Only had boots for two weeks, but appear very durable. Would definitely recommend these dog boots.
Missy McConnell –
Got the size 7s and fits my 81lb german shepherd perfectly! They’re comfy and she doesn’t seem to mind walking in them.
Olivia Neuman –
My dog has some anxiety issues and allergies so she licks her paws. I bought this product for her to wear outsdie when we go for walks and play ball so her paws don’t get more tore up. Overall, the product is very durable. They stay on well. For reference, my dog is about 65# and we got a 6.
Michelle L. Evey –
Size 7. After prancing around like a pony for about 2 minutes, he settled down and started walking like a normal pup. He gets incredible traction while his precious paws are protected.
Vincent, the 82 pound Double-doodle wears a large. They fit perfectly and stay on well.
Maksmom618 –
These boots are perfect for my goldendoodle. She is 53 lbs and I purchased a size 5. They fit perfect. I had her put her weight in her foot and traced it. Measured it and went off manufacturers size chart. She didn’t fuss about me putting them on or wearing them. The first day she wore them for a few minutes. The second day she walked/ran a little over a mile wearing them. She has now gone on two separate mile long walks without issue. I like that they are reflective with a nice rubber sole to protect her feet. They are waterproof and the mud rinses right off. I couldn’t get the dirt/grass out of the Velcro very well but that’s not a big deal to me 🙂 Overall very happy with these boots!
Ariel Cella –
These boots are absolutely amazing. I ordered two pairs, both Large and they fit perfectly on my guys’ feet. We went on a 4 mile muddy hike today and they did not slip off their feet ONCE and they ran through small streams and mud puddles. One shoe on one of my dogs (always the same foot, so I think it’s him not the shoe) tends to flip upside down, but I don’t think it’s a default. I went with the upgraded ones that have the nonslip inside as well, and I don’t know if it makes a difference or not but they held up so well. In the past when the dogs are sprinting as fast as they can, they have come off so I don’t recommend them for grassy fields or when you take them for speed running like that – but they’re amazing to protect their feet out hiking like we experienced. I will buy these again if/when I eventually need to replace them.
Victoria –
Size 7. I had a 14 year old black lab whose legs where crossing in the back and she was constantly slipping on the floor in the house. These were great for her hind legs and did help her stop the crossing. They definitely provided grip for her on the floor and stopped her from sliding and falling. I thought they were an excellent value. You do have to fasten them tight on the legs but my dog didn’t care about that. Your dog will also walk funny in them for a few days as well trying to get used to the feeling. I found the booties easy to apply and take off while she was sitting down. They are also easy to clean if they get dirty with soap and water.
Overall, a great product for an aging and arthritic dog at a great price.
Jessica Parker –
Size 6. These work great for my 10 year old boxer-mastiff whose back legs were always slipping out from under her. She almost never slips now wearing these! They stay on well, the only issue we have is that they flip around on her feet sometimes but overall these are working great!
lifeeverordinary –
I bought these boots so my dogs feet wouldn’t get burnt on hot pavement during the summer. I found it very important to put them on him directly before going (so his mind is in go go go mode) so he wouldn’t try to chew them off. They stay on well, and so far they are holding up better than expected!
AB Mommy –
Beach tested and survived. I got these for my dog to wear at my cabin because our beach got infested with oysters. He had already cut his foot once really bad. He was unsure of them at first and didn’t like them, but after trying them a few times he got used to them. The first time we tried them on the beach I think he was thankful that his feet were pain free and they boot held up really well against the oysters! I would recommend.
T. S. Hugo –
The dog boots I received are wonderful and helped my dog so much he can now walk across the hardwood floor without the fear of falling. These boots have also been winterized by waterproofing ,adding a thicker inside boot linings and draw top string on the top of boost to keep out snow and rain, Thank you so much for creating these products.
Dane –
My Dogs feet don’t burn anymore! So Its summertime out here in California, and my dog wants to go for a walk. The only problem is the asphalt is 117* and burns her feet bad. NOT ANYMORE! Now all the other dogs turns their heads and cry. Wishing their feet didn’t burn. Id buy this product again!
Gina –
Perfect protection for our dog. We take our dog for long hikes. The boots stay on without a problem. Yes, I recommend this product. One more thing, make sure you follow the instructions to know the right size for your dog.
Merryn L. Oliveira –
Great for keeping our dog’s feet safe on hot days! We got these because of hot days we have been having, and the concern that her paw pads could get burned when we take her on walks. They have been very helpful for that. They have also worked well when she got an injury to a pad and it kept her from licking the pad while it healed. Easy to put on, easy to take off, and our dog doesn’t mind them. A must for hot weather areas, or in earthquake country as well as part of a disaster kit for your dog.
Heidi –
My dog HATES these, but I feel much better about her walking on sidewalks and pavements when she wears them. They have worked well for me so far!
Poop is easy to clean off – unexpected bonus
***HEADS UP: Make sure you put them on VERY VERY tightly. My dog is skilled at taking them off or kicking them off unless they are securely on. Great protection, easy to clean
Kyndall Ross –
We ordered these for when we go to the lake, our dog always manages to tear his pads up on the rocks at the bottom while playing fetch . When we took him on a walk, these shoes were great- very durable and sturdy. It took all of 5 minutes to get our dog comfortable in them and they are pretty adorable as well.
Eli S. –
Great for senior dogs with arthritis or any other ailment that deals with difficulties getting up especially on hardwood floors. Highly recommend if your dog has joint pain or arthritis issues
Linda M –
Easy to put on, easy to remove and our dog doesn’t mind wearing. We have adhesive pads for inside wear and they come off if wet. The boots are the perfect answer for early morning (dew) and rainy day walks!
Pam –
They work great and fit like a glove! Now it is more comfortable to take my dog for a run.
Dominque O. –
Great for Florida heat and working dogs. My dog has had these since he was a puppy and we live in Florida and they have lasted for a while. The only reason I had to get more is because he chewed through one when he had an itchy paw
Aimee –
Saves puppy’s paws! Get them!! Size large fit my great Pyrenees puppy!! 🙂 With room to spare! But the Velcro fit thing works like a charm a tightens alot to fit her growing big feet! Saves puppy paws from burning California heat 🔥🌞
Iris M. Escribano Nieves –
THE BEST dog protective shoes! My pup has overall sensitive skin & paws, and does pull hard and uses a lot of traction, for this reason and because we live in FL, is easy for her to injure her paws. I first purchased a pair from PetsMart, and they were horrible! They didn’t stay in place, and as the bottom was flat, it looked like my dog was wearing clown shoes. It was ridiculous.
Then, based on reviews, I decided to try this instead, and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! They don’t only stay in place, but they are comfy for her. She doesn’t seem to dislike them at all and acts like nothing is happening. Her paws even healed faster by wearing these! Their shape fits the natural shape of a paw. It’s design just makes sense. Even the double strap system and light reflector for walking in the dark, is brilliant! The best dog purchase ever!
K H. –
These dog boots are great. Accurate fit according to measurements. My dog did a bit of a “high step” prance at first 😀but got used to them very quickly. These boots will protect my hardwood floors and plan on buying another pair for outside when we go to the lake for the slippery rocky shoreline and during winter snows.
Morrislan –
I was really hesitant to buy these, and took a chance. What I have learned is that these boots are the best thing ever invented for my dog. I live in the desert, so you can imagine how hot the ground is, especially during the summer time. I feel very comfortable taking my dog just about anywhere now because of these boots. It took him about 30 minutes to become comfortable in them, so don’t give up when the walks funny at first. We used lots of treats and positive reinforcement, and followed the training guidelines provided with the boots. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone who walks their dog regularly on asphalt or rocks, As these boots completely make for a better walking experience.
Pen Name –
My lab has horrible allergies and was chewing his paw pads off after walking on the grass. Now he wears these when he goes outside and doesn’t have to worry about getting itchy.
He adapted to them well, I just gave him special treats like the instructions say to do.
I like that the bottoms are rubber, therefore water-proof so I don’t have to worry about him walking on wet grass.
Maria Valenzuela –
Great dog shoes. We bought 2 different styles and liked this one much better. Our dog loves to swim but when we are in the water with her she will scratch us. She can still swim in these but we don’t get scratched. She has only worn them a couple times but seems like they will last for a while.
PJRQ –
These are great! My dog was having trouble on hardwood floors as she got older with arthritis. These really have her good traction and she is getting up a lot easier!
Figen Shopper –
These waterproof dog boots are the best I have found. I have a 14 year old standard poodle who had to have a toe removed and I used one boot on him after the bandages were removed. He has a tendency to drag his back leg. Not only are these boots made of very rugged material they are also easy to put on and take off. I purchased the size 7 (large) and I am glad I did. I had other boots that would tear and would twist around his paw. So pleased with this purchase.
Kacey Martinez –
My boy has a cyst in the webbing of his toes. Will take 3mo to go away. Rather than have him wear this satellite looking cone on his neck, I bought these shoes to keep him from licking his sore foot. They took some getting used to for him but ultimately they work! He and I even went on a 2 mile walk today, he did great with them. The only thing that makes me nervous is I don’t know if I’m putting them on too tight.
Christie –
Perfect dog shoes! My German Shepherd kept slipping on our hardwood floors and hurting himself. I bought these shoes and am so glad that I did. They are easy to put on and have helped keep my dog from slipping. After the week of getting him used to them, now he walks perfectly in them. Great purchase!
Brian L. –
Great dog shoe for a great price! I wish they came in smaller sizes since my 20 pound cockapoo sometimes slips out of her size 5, but overall I would definitely recommend.
Deborah A. –
Great dog shoes, water proof. My dog loves her shoes ,went to lake she wore her shoes because rocks on bed. There water proof till she jumped in lake, still pretty dry. She can sleep in if licking her feet from allergies. Worth the money, wash in cold water no dryer . Lulu is 75lbs Boxer wears size 5sz .
Socalfun64 –
We were worried because the instructions said to slowly acclimate your dog to them. We just went for it and our Chabrador took to them right away. We have a lot of prickly weeds around the area we walk her and she was always getting them stuck in her paw. Now She runs through all the stuff with ease. She was running in them the first day. It only take a couple minutes for me to put them on. They have stayed on great. It’s important to get the right size. Anyway I recommend them 100%.
Sami –
I got these boots for my dog to wear when we go hiking since she will often tear her paws up running through the woods. These boots are very sturdy, excellent quality, can take a beating, and actually stay on!!!! After a short time with them on, my dog got completely comfortable wearing them. I highly recommend these boots!!
Magic –
Purchased set of Size 8 boots for my Doberman Pincher to protect her feet from the cactus spine leftovers after having had some major cactus plants removed from a house I moved into recently. I found that the size 8 dog boots were too large for her hind feet so I ordered a set of size 7 boots and created 2 sets of boots. Granted she is a dog that has worn boots many times before, she took off running in them immediately. When she returned inside the house she went to her dog bed and lay down as if to say these are Keepers! ( The normal routine is for her to come back inside and jump on the couch so that I can remove her boots).
Robyn –
These dog shoes are great, we walked over a mile and they stayed on the entire time. Dingy didn’t seem to mind them at all. I got a size 8, Dingo is 40 lbs. Happy walking, friends!
Andyqio –
QUMY Dog Boots Waterproof Shoes. These dog shoes were sturdy, nice treaded bottom and two velcro tabs easy to put on….unfortunately, my dogs legs were just too slim compared to her paws and couldn’t tighten enough….the shoes were very durable….
Martin B. –
Works well on my Boston. After getting used to them, he can do hikes in the snow thru the woods and have his feet protected. I have to make sure they are on tight, but they do stay in place and don’t rotate on his feet.
Mwells – Fl –
Our dog had walked/ ran on concrete that his paws were raw and callused. We used the shoes with a wax balm on the paw pads. We’re on day 3 and I see a huge improvement… He has been bringing me his frisbee and ball wanting to play. He took to the shoes very well. I was anticipating a rough transition. Very easy to put on and the dog doesn’t mind walking in them.
Deisy –
Took a few trials to find the right size but once found it was a great shoe for my pitbull/terrier. Easy to put on and fasten and holds good traction and wear and tear.
Kay Robbins –
Best Dog Boots. These stay on better than any of the others I have tried. I really like the detailed information included with the product about how to best use them. Although I bet most find it next to impossible to heed the warning not to laugh at your dog. My dog’s initial reaction was that she would never be able to walk again but within minutes she was galloping around the yard like there was nothing on her feet.
Cubical Czar –
Best Paw Forward. A little small on my dog so I put a old cut off children’s sock on his paw. Helps my dog grip the floor. Velcro strap can get stock on carpet.
Ashley Mahan –
While he doesn’t love wearing them, they protect my beagles feet from the snow and salt. There are two straps that keep the boots on really well. I like the no slip grip for the ice
Adam K –
Good quality doggie booties. Would recommend these dog boots. They are much easier to put on than others we have tried in the past and the strap allows you to secure them tightly without hurting the pup. These are the only boots we’ve purchased (of 3 pairs) that I have been happy about thus far. Will report back after a full season, but seem to be holding up well.
J. Schneider –
Saved my dog’s feet. Couldn’t be happier with this product. I bought the size 4 for my 46 pound corgi/aussie mix. I followed the included instructions for getting her used to them. 1 week in, front booties are in. We’ll be starting the backs in a few days. These booties literally saved her feet. Allergies/snow/salt is no longer a problem. If they also came in a size 3, i would order another pair in a hot second.
Ady Chris –
As long as you make sure to velcro tight (so they don’t slip off) these boots have been perfect for our 40lb whipped pit mix who has very sensitive paws in the cold/snow/salt etc. I never thought I’d be a dog bootie person but she just couldn’t handle the ground and these saved the day!
Charlene –
They fit great. We use the lazer when we put them on him to get him used to them… but it helps keep his feet from freezing! So glad I ordered!
Audrey –
My dog and I loved the boots! She looks so cute and they fit her very well. It has been so cold here that they have been very helpful to keep her paws protected on our walks. She is a 30# Border Collie and we ordered a size 4 for her.
Kara –
We have a lab chihuahua mix dog. ( she’s a rescue from Arizona) we did not mix the two breeds! Anyway she’s in between sizes for all clothing. These boots worked out perfectly for her. They are soft on the inside and all one fabric for the inside of her paws. I was very please to find the note about how to introduce her to the boots. I’m very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it! Perfect for keeping her feet warm, cozy and protected from salt!
Katy Young –
Great protection against salt. Jeffy got used to them pretty quickly. Back right fell off a few times but maybe due to not being out on properly.
the rator –
Protect Dog’s Paws! Great product. Use this to take my dog bike riding so he doesn’t hurt his feet on the concrete.
kerry mills –
Never write reviews. Thoughts i’d share my pleasure with these dog boots. My dog suddenly started falling over and being “sloppy” with her back legs. Turns out she has a degenerative issue where eventually her back legs will not work at all. For now, I use a sling to walk her and these boots on her back paws. She can stand and walk way better in these, she was falling all over the hardwood floors prior to, and dragging her feet. these give her more confidence and she is less frustrated with her NEW situation. Took me a couple weeks to figure out this helpful solution. i would recommend!
Danielle Esford –
Great dog shoes. My dog got used to them in five minutes. I take my dog down to the creek for walks and these really helped her feet on the rocks. (Update). My dog unfortunately lost one of her shoes in the water when a tree branch ripped it off. I contacted them to see if I could buy just one or two shoes and they ended up sending me a whole new set. Fantastic company. Great product
denise pascal –
After looking online everywhere for dog boots to help my pup with a paw injury, I purchased these. They are very easy to get on and the double Velcro straps keep them secure. The rubber bottoms give him traction and protect better than boots without that added layer. Great product and a true fit.
Showbiz68 –
These work exactly as they are described. The boots stay on very well and offer the barrier on our dog’s feet that we were looking for.
emily –
helped old dog with arthritis be confident. My doggo has pretty bad arthritis in his back end and had all sorts of trouble with getting up and squatting to go potty. Ordered these boots and put on his feet. No he wasn’t thrilled at first but he tried them because I gave him lots of love, treats and praise. His confidence is back up where he can get up and walk around the house well. We only have tile and hard floors so he slips and slides without his shoes. These are awesome!
kmilesmcleod –
Active Dog Not Bothered by Wearing Qumy Boots. I heard most dogs really resist wearing booties, some refusing to even walk. Qumy’s came with a very thorough explanation of how to start you dog off with them, though we didn’t need them because ours just took off. He seemed unbothered by them within minutes. His initial steps were more Clydesdale vs Vizsla puppy, which was quite funny, but he very quickly got back to his normal stride.
S.W –
Great booties for a walk on hot pavement. These were the only booties (size 8) that would stay on my german shepherd. He got used to them very fast and they did a good job of protecting his paws from Texas hot pavement. Only downside is if the puddle is deeper then a few millimeters water gets in and makes the boot fall off. They will also not stay on if the dog is moving faster then a brisk walk, so they would only be good for walks and not running around.
Ginger Sakas –
My sweet 13 yo Golden can get up again on her own! What a great aid — good construction – she doesn’t fuss with them .
The can rotate so cloth side ends up as walking surface , but even then provides enough traction to get her on her feet
Marlee D –
Great dog shoes .. I used them to protect my dogs feet from the Arizona heat and for the lake so I can’t say there water proof since my dog never left the water
flora lau –
I bought this for our vacation to Lake Havasu! It was 110 degrees out there. The rubber soles are thick and durable. Like a tennis shoe. You really have to measure your dog’s paw to get the correct fit. I have 2 Large labs and the older one I bought it for did not fit well and wound up rubbing the sides/chaffing. I just used it for the pup, it worked out fine. You will need to really tighten the Velcro straps to avoid water and sand going inside the shoe. Other than that, it served it’s purpose. I would recommend.
Wanda Caraballo –
BEST DOG BOOTS EVER!!! They helped my dog’s paws on this hot pavement in Las Vegas
SLT –
These boots are great. They are well made. Only had them for a week but are showing no signs of wear on the soles yet. I like that they are waterproof. They are noisier than others but that is because of the sole being so durable. Ordered a second pair for another dog as well.
Francine G. –
I ordered these boots for my Std Poodle who has spine/arthritis issues and therefore is prone to slipping on tile and hardware surfaces. These boots provide great traction (awesome tread!) and he has not fallen once since he started wearing them. I keep them on him all day and they do not seem to bother him. I’m sure the velcro will wear out in time but the value for the price warrants 4.5 stars for sure. The only improvement I would like to see is to make the boot a little higher up the leg and therefore space out the two velcro strips a bit. Poodles don’t have thick limbs so there is a lot of extra velcro when I wrap it all the way around. He’s been out in the rain and mud with these and they seem to hold up well. He only needs them on his back legs so I will save the other two boots for when the first two wear out. Overall they work for us.
PMB dotcom LLC –
The boots arrived fast. There is a detailed suggestion of how to train your dog to accept the boots over time.
That method could take a long time and doesn’t help with your exercise time with your pet and the reason we bought them.
I introduced the boots to my dog and put one on him. He didn’t like it so I let him wear it a few minutes before putting another on.
I did give him a treat when he accepted each boot.
He walked around funny for a few steps, but with encouragement and a treat, he learned quickly.
I put the other two on and with re-enforcement treats, he was walking around the house normally. He went outside and walked around the back yard on his own.
We played a bit with him in the boots and he appeared comfortable.
That ended the first day with treat re-enforcements.
The next day he accepted the boots easier and didn’t do the high-step more than a few steps.
We skipped the 3rd day.
The 4th day, he allowed me to put the boots on and we went for a walk. He adapted quickly so we extended the walk for our normal distance.
He was walking normally after the first few minutes and seemed comfortable in the boots.
The boots I bought were a bit too big (wide) because I used the sizing scale on the ad. I didn’t see any issue with his feet, but they do turn easily unless the strap is tight.
One boot came off within the first 100 steps on our walk, but stayed on after tightening the velcro closure.
We walked a mile without any obvious wear on the boots. We haven’t used the boots enough to know if they will last over time.
kirra –
used these for about 2 weeks. Dog was awkward at first but after a day, we went on a long walk and it was nice to know her paws were protected from the hot pavement!
ROMAN NARODITSKY –
My dog has an artrites and has problem to walk. Since we put the shoes on, the dog is walking good. It is good product.
Bryan Hranicky –
Size 7 works the best for my golden retriever! I will be able to take him on walks more often when the sidewalks are hotter during the summer, and he is able to walk around in them comfortably. Also plan to test them out when it is wetter outside whenever we get more rain here
mitch –
overall these are great. my GSD has already associated them with going out for a walk 🙂 you can tell they’re very comfortable because he doesn’t try to take them off or anything. they stay on unless he’s running around with them they fly off lol. but they’re great, good quality.
carolina –
The best bang for your buck. These booties are fantastic! We mainly use them for road running to protect her feet from the abrasive pavement, as well as hot pavement. You can’t go wrong on these for the price. I always recommend them to people over buying Ruffwear booties that are double the price of these. Be aware that they can irritate dewclaws if worn for hours at a time, but you can avoid it by doing a quick wrap with vet wrap that goes between the declaw and the foot.
GSB –
These helped an old lab keep from slipping on my hardwood floors. She felt more secure and they fit perfectly. Didn’t have any issues with running as they were lined.
ImaginaryFairy –
Leroy has some hip issues now that he’s older. We bought a historic home with beautiful wood floors but he was having real issues walking. His rear legs kept sliding out from under him and then he couldn’t get any grip on the floor to get up. We got his shoes today. We let him smell them, showed him our shoes, said, “Leroy has new shoes!” We put the shoes on his back legs and clapped, told him how nice his shoes looked and what a good boy he was. He did some high stepping for about five minutes and then seemed totally comfortable with them. At one point he tripped and was able to immediately get himself up. We have retightened the shoes twice and he’s been wearing them all day. One of the reviews I read said the bottoms were hard and cheap, I did not find that to be the case. They have a nice grip on the floor, they are flexible, and well made for what they cost. I am very pleased with these and think they will ultimately let him get more exercise which will strengthen his hips helping him walk longer. I think they are great. We will probably wait a few days before putting the front shoes on, but the back shoes do the trick for now.

So when I saw the price of these booties I was a little hesitant to spend that much, BUT I’m glad I did! These booties remind me so much of KEEN shoes, they have awesome tread on them and the yellow dog paws on the side tell you which foot they should go on (right or left) and it also has an R or L on the bottom of the bootie. I love the double Velcro, one to tighten the bootie and the other is the reflector strap but both help keep the bootie on. Included with the booties is a guide on how to train your dog to want to wear them. I felt like taking 5 days to train was a little long, so I put on just one the first day and rewarded with a treat, then put on all 4, 3 days later and my pup instantly was walking around no problem. On a hot day and after a decent hike my pups paws are sweating inside the booties and Im sure the fact that I got the black ones doesnt help with that. We went on a hike where we had to cross a creek, he did flood his booties and by the end of the hike you couldnt even read the logo it was that covered in mud, so when I got home I tossed them in the washer and they were good as new!! Highly recommend them!! I got a size 7 for my 10 month yellow lab because I did want room if his nails get too long. They are not too big! Better to have a bigger shoe then too small!

Best booties! Had to include this picture of our human boy fishing with our dog boy in his Qumy boots. Last time they were out in that spot our dogs pads were ripped up. He couldn’t walk for a day or two. He heals pretty quickly, but there’s no need for that to begin with. These have saved his paws. Plus the company is super helpful and communicates really well.

These are great dog boots. Purchased these for pup who is in a wheel chair and drags his feet so needed something to protect. He is 100 lbs and we purchased the large size. The boots protect his feet and stay on well. Very durable.
Ethan –
Easy to put on and my dog warmed up to them quickly with some positive reinforcement. Only thing I had a small issue with is they tend to slide off it not velcroed tight enough. Overall, great product

Great booties for active dog!! We have a very active Siberian Husky who we take hiking during hot summers and cold, snowy winters. These shoes have been wonderful to protect her paws from sharp rocks and hot packed clay in some parts of our trails during the summer. In winter she has hiked mountain trails and assisted in rescues without ice crystals forming on her paws. She has taken them in streams and rivers too without any issues. Easy to clean and comfortable for our dog.
Twin Mom –
These boots have worked well for our elderly dog who has difficulty with one of her back legs on slick floors. She adjusted to it quickly and only needs to wear one at this time. The rubber soles provide excellent traction. They are durable and waterproof. We have washed one and it held up fine in the machine. She doesn’t seem to notice it, but since she does not wear them on her front paws I can’t say how she would react to that. I measured her paw as instructed and the fit is good. There are two velcro straps that keep the boot in place without pinching. If you have a dog that needs help walking on slick flooring, I highly recommend this product.

My two labs are mostly inside but when taking them for long walks their pads would get damaged and or burnt. With these on i can take my dogs outside and not worry about their pads.
Golden –
I have 100 pound golden doodle and 85 pound golden retriever. First I ordered the size 8 which was huge on both of them. Then I ordered a seven for my doodle and a six for my golden retriever, they both fit great. I have also noticed that on both my dogs their front paws are bigger than their back paws. I put the sevens on both of their front paws and the sixes on both of their back paws and that works great also. I especially like the middle piece of fabric which gives it more support in case it rips.

I love these boots!
My lab cut his foot pretty deep on a razor clam at our beach. Us humans can’t walk in without water shoes, puppies are no different.
These are so durable and thick on the bottom. They are absolutely perfect to protect his feet.
The first time I put them on him it was hilarious. He pranced around like a horse. Once he realized he can walk on the rocks with no pain, on hot sidewalk with no pain, Omgosh he loves them. He does not try to take them off or chew on them. He knows if my boots are going on that means I’m going swimming! They stay on, I put the Velcro strap as tight as possible. They sometimes flip around- but that’s due to the fact he’s so excited to be going to the beach, he prances around the house and gets the zoomies.
I honestly couldn’t tell you if they are water resistant , as i use them as water shoes.
I feel like a brand ambassador for these boots. I live in a shoreline community with a lot of dogs. Every pet parent asks about them and where I get them. Perfect for what we need them for!
I’m excited to also try these out in winter.

We used this booties for my dog who is a miniature schnauzer and I was worried about size but they worked for him very well. He walked funny the first two times we put them on him but gave him treats to encourage him to walk in them and he got the hang of it rather quickly. I was mostly worried about him getting ticks and extremely dirty from dirt since we were camping for his first time so I bought these and they kept him clean and his paws protected. Although one did fall off in the lake but found it in the shallow end, I probably wouldn’t have him in the water with them again. Will continue to use on my dog when it’s too hot or during rainy season. Better quality than stuff in store and more affordable!
Jeffers Boggs –
I have the large shoes and they fit my 105 pound GSD perfectly! It took him a little while to get used to them, but they have been a huge help in preventing blisters on his paws since it is so hot here and it warms the pavement. They have also been quite durable, I see no sign of wear or tear after a few walks.
Yuy Herry –
My dog runs around the pool on hot pavement until his paws bleed so these boots are perfect with the rubber soles! They are also great for swimming!
Christopher –
The shoes are great. They fit well and give my dog confidence again. The company QUMY is a great company too and listens to their customers.
Doberman pinscher that is 100lb needed a size 7

My senior Old English Sheepdog is loving these shoes! He’s had some health issues and difficulty getting up and walking but these shoes have made a world of difference. They stay on well and give him the grip he needs on tile floors. I highly recommend them!
GearedUp –
Awesome dog booties!! They look really cute on my boy, and he actually likes them, and he can walk & run really good in them. They have really nice durable rubber traction soles, and have good quality material fabric with reflective strip as top Velcro cinch strip. They have 2 Velcro cinch strips on each boot to allow you to really tighten them down on your dogs foot to prevent them from falling off. I Really am glad I purchased this brand dog boots, and more importantly, my dog Really likes them. Thank you Qumy for great quality and cute dog booties! Also, I am So Glad I ordered the red & black color, they look So nice on my Pit. I would buy from them again, and I highly recommend these dog booties.
Kancy –
This product fits perfect and really helps our older dog as he was falling quite often and now is not slipping on the floors.
KeriDoki –
had these for about two week and they’ve held up pretty good considering how naughty my boi is.
Tip: Always encourage your doggo when they wear them so they dont feel embarrassed by their funny walking.
lettinggoofego –
They stay on just have to be tight. Internally they seem comfortable. After being outside in the heat for minimal time, internally they feel like human shoes. Heat mostly from dogs paws so happy my dog isn’t burning her paws. Seem sturdy and been using them daily in the summer so far so good.
sally –
Bought 2 pairs for my sons dogs. He lives in a So Cal desert area. Easily averages 114-115 in the summer. So these fit perfectly n his dogs got used to them quite easily, used treats to get them to coax them at first. Now they know they have to put their “shoes” on to go for a walk 🤣 Exactly as stated. Works great for hot pavement. Definitely recommend!

My son lives Phoenix asphalt is to hot for his dog. These shoes helped him taking walks.

We have two Anatolian Shepards. One got her foot caught in a wire fence where she hung upside down for 2 hours while we were at church. When we arrived home, the whole barnyard alerted us to seek out the problem. Her leg was numb from the hip down. The vet eventually had to amputate some toes and pads. She had a PVC cast for 6 weeks that needed to be changed weekly. When all wounds were healed, we slipped on the Dog Boot. It comes off occasionally but we just put it back on. She likes it. If she starts limping, it means she has gotten sand in it. We clean he foot and put on a clean Dog Boot. She is a holy terror here on the farm. She and her brother wrestle tooth and claw and carry-on much to the dismay of the other animals. They are guard dogs. The boot makes her equal to her brother, except when she betters him.lol.
Rick John –
My pooch has no problem with these. He chewed off his paw pad due to yeast, so I bandage it and then put on the boots. He can still run and play as it’s healing since he has so much energy. W/o the boots he’d likely be far more confined during his healing process. They open up wide to slip on easily and have a thick rubber bottom so nothing pokes through them. The feet are well protected. It took only two days for him to get used to them. He needs only one foot covered but I noticed that he does better if he’s even on all four feet.
Melanie Lema –
Love! Love! Our dog loved his boots too right from the start! We adopted from shelter. He was an owner surrender who was originally brought in to be put to sleep but shelter said he was too happy to be put down yet so owners just surrendered him to be adopted. 9 year old senior boxer who has suspected generative myelopathy so has been losing use of his hind legs. He was tripping, knuckling, stepping on his own feet and sliding a lot. Our tile floors were not helping! Bought these boots and they help him tremendously with traction and protection. He seemed to realize immediately how much they assisted him. Whenever I tell him ‘Let’s get your boots on!’, he knows right what to do to help me place them on him. He seems to be improving with exercise, supplements, boots and love so now I wonder if he just has a healing slipped disk. He moves all over now on our two acre property with his boots and still wants to play. He just needs them on the hind legs so I have two sets. I don’t foresee having to replace them soon but will definitely repurchase, if necessary.
Rachel Melotik –
Easy to put on and take off. Haven’t tried them in the water quite yet, but looking forward to it. They came with very helpful instructions to slowly introduce your pup to the idea of wearing shoes to make it a positive experience for them. Highly recommend this product. The screen showing how to measure your pup’s paw was extremely helpful in choosing the size and it seems to be a perfect fit.
worldtravler –
All dogs need these!! Took my dog Oliver just one day to love his shoes! I put the front ones on first.. Then after awhile just the back, Finally all four!
The pavement is so hot here in Florida this should be an essential for all dogs who walk on the hot pavement. He even had no trouble doing his “business”! This was taken less then 24 hours after arrival. The treats did help lol!!
cherry hey –
Great dog bootie!! These are great! Very durable, waterproof, and comfortable (which it seems). Only thing I would comment on is that there is no opening for air. I feel like it may get hot inside of the boot ( especially if you live in the south like me). But other than that they do NOT fall off and each bootie has 2 velcro‘s to secure them.
Joey Robinson –
I purchased these for our 15 year old boxer. He recently has been struggling to walk on our hard wood and tile floors. I tried buying carpet runners but could not cover the entire area (much less it didn’t look good). After reading reviews I decided to give these a try. I was skeptical because we tried some dog socks before and they did not stay on well. I ordered a size 6 for our Brasco but I’m wondering if I should have went one size smaller because I have to wrap the Velcro all the way around. It comes with four shoes but I only use two on his back paws. He doesn’t seem to mind wearing them at all and they stay on great. The best part is that he is now able to walk without slipping and sliding. I would definitely recommend these shoes.
Katie –
Great dog shoes. I use these on my older pit because she has trouble walking on the hardwood floors. These have helped tremendously, she gets a good grip now and is no longer slipping and hurting her legs. I typically take them off when she goes outside so they don’t get too much wear and tear and so far they have been holding up great. I also appreciate the instruction sheet on how to get your dog comfortable with the shoes. I’ve tried other brands that are more like socks that slip on and they were destroyed within a week. So far these are a win in my book
Richard G –
Great shoes to help senior dogs walk on slippery floors. We recently got a new young dog companion, Sophie, for our senior border collie mix, Elmo. Elmo was already having trouble walking on our hardwood floors because of neuropathy and weakness in his hind legs. Because Sophie is young and playful, Elmo was frequently falling trying his best to keep up with his new friend.
We were concerned that he would injure himself so I searched for something to improve his traction on our hard floors. These Qumy shoes seemed to be a solution. Based on the given instructions for sizing and because of reviewer complaints, I ordered 3 sizes hoping one size would fit correctly. I had to go with the smaller size. And of course, Amazon has free returns.
Elmo resisted the first time I put them on but he immediately started to walk normally without slipping even while rough housing with Sophie. In the beginning, we only left them on Elmos feet for 2 hours , then two hours off slowly increasing the duration. I did notice some sore spots were developing on his feet so I let his feet recover for a week. After resuming, the sore spots have not reoccurred. He is now wearing his shoes all day but not at night. I also discovered that he only needs shoes on his hind legs to avoid slipping. The only time Elmo takes off his shoes (without my help) is when something gets in his shoe like a small pebble. It is important that the Velcro straps are put on snuggly otherwise the shoe will rotate.
Because Elmo wears his shoes indoors and outdoors, his shoes last about 3-4 months. He has gone through three pairs with the Velcro straps tearing or otherwise getting damaged. Maybe wider straps would help. A minor problem with the Velcro straps is that Elmo’s hair will clog the straps requiring cleaning with a stiff brush.
These shoes do well even in snow because they are water resistant. Sometimes I do change them to a dry pair when he stays outdoors long enough for water to penetrate the fabric.
We even go on 2 mile walks on a gravel road with no issues.
Washing the shoes in a washing machine is doable if the Velcro straps are fastened and if the shoes are put in a pillow case so that the Velcro straps don’t cling to other clothing in the washer. Drying in medium heat doesn’t hurt them either.
Elmo and I are very pleased with these shoes.
Cindy –
They actually didn’t work for my dog,but that was no ones fault. Was hoping they would fit but she is huge. We knew that they may not work for her but we had to try. She is a 132 pound lab with giant feet. The quality seemed good.

My dog runs around and around the pool whenever my visiting grandchildren swim. Her pads end up raw and shredded. When left inside she chewed up the blinds trying to get to them, which wasn’t the answer to this problem. I tried another brand of shoes and they would not stay on. Once I discovered how to tighten these shoes properly they stay on and she tolerates them well, so now she is able to follow the kids around without harming herself. She moves easily up and down steps in them. The bottoms are sturdy but flexible and look like they will last a long time. She doesn’t like to have her feet touched but lets me put these on without much fuss. Thanks for helping me solve this problem! I’d recommend these shoes for any dog! They are a paw saver for sure!

Porter is a 14 year old Pitt mix with degenerative myelopathy. The disease has deteriorated his ability to control his back legs/paws. We are 2 years into this problem and refuse to give up without a fight. If you notice in the video, we have carpet strips throughout my entire home so Porter is able to walk without his feet sliding out on the hardwood floors. If you watch the video close, you can see how Porter unconsciously stops his back legs on the carpet as soon as his back feet are getting close to the hardwood. For months he was terrified to walk across the hardwood. Every attempt he made, his paws would slide out causing him to fall and struggle to get up. We initially thought the carpet strips would be the solution but as time continued, his legs/paws continued to get worse. The video I recorded is the first time Porter tried on his new shoes. Yes it’s a little rocky at first but I can tell already this is the best purchase I have ever made for him, post disease. Compaired to the cost of all the doctor appointments, meds, and home modifications we had to make for him to walk, this is by far the cheapest and most effective alternative. We know this is just a temporary fix. Unfortunately the disease will end up winning some day as there is no cure, and the shelf life for a dog with this disease is around 2 years. But this has taken a lot of stress and guilt off my back. He’s finally able to walk without his legs/paws knuckling or sliding out. Porter weighs about 85-90lbs. I bought the large shoes. Next time we will buy the medium shoes as they will probably fit a little more snug. The large shoes are tad too big but that’s ok, they’re still great.

These are really nice boots. My dog has issues with grass seeds getting in her toes. She hates to have her feet touched and won’t let me check for seeds but I have been able to get one boot on following the directions that came with the boots. My goal is to get all four on so she doesn’t need to continue to have grass seeds removed by the vet.

Great for my German Shepherd. I got these boots for my 80pound German Shepherd. I live in Arizona and use these for heat protectant from the hot concrete. He has big paws so I got the largest size and they pretty much perfectly fit. He isn’t used to the boots but it doesn’t seem to bug him much. So far good quality and they feel very durable. Definitely recommend this product.
anna thompson –
I was shocked when I expected my dog to freak out and do everything in his power to get the shoes off and surprisingly he didn’t. He loved the shoes and didn’t mind putting them on or wearing them around the house at all. They have rubber bottoms and seems to be very durable and comfortable at a good price! I recommend!
Maria –
I just purchased these for my 14 year old lab. He walks very slowly and I was concerned with the heat burning his feet. He has hip arthritis so his mobility is not very good especially walking on rocks in our backyard landscaping. The shoes helped a great deal with that. Also, they help him from sliding on our tile inside the house as well. I wish I had purchased these sooner!

Let me start my review by saying that these are our third pair of boots for our 40-pound goldendoodle. We’ve tried different brands every time because we just couldn’t keep any of them on our dog’s feet—until these! FINALLY! Other boots would do fine until our dog would take off at full speed, usually chasing a rabbit or chipmunk (we’re very active hikers and she’s always off-leash). Then they’d come right off of her feet and be lost forever. These had great reviews so we decided to try them out and were not disappointed. Our dog has been able to run at full-speeds through brush, run through rivers, and do everything she normally does and these STAY ON HER FEET! Oh happy day. We’ve only had them for less than a week but have been on several hikes so I’ll update this review once we’ve had them for longer. I’m very excited and hopeful about these though!

Durable dog shoes. Great for non muddy paws! Even better laugh watching my pup adjust to wearing them.
BubbaHoTep –
Good dog boots. Good surface grip, durable, make sure to slide the velcro tight so that the boots don’t slide side to side on your dog’s paws.
Ai128 –
I bought these boots for my lab-mix (58lbs), who was having allergic reactions on her paws. These boots are in very good quality and durable. Each boot has two traps so it’s very secure, as well. Inside is lined with soft fabric so they’re comfortable and gentle on your pup’s skin. They came in a nice bag with a note from the seller, which had an instruction on how to get a dog used to its new boots. It was very useful. One thing I had a little trouble with them was that my dog’s rear paws are much smaller than the front two. But I learned how to make them tighter by pulling the straps more. My dog had no problem walking with the boots. Unfortunately they didn’t improve my dog’s skin issue, but I’m very satisfied with the products themselves and the seller was very nice, as well. I had a very pleasant experience overall.

Great Solution for Senior Dog on Slippery Floors. My 17 year old Australian Kelpie’s bag legs have gotten weak. Trying to get up from a laying position on wood floors has been challenging. I tried some bootie socks with non-slip grips – but they kept getting loose and sliding off of her feet. The Qumy boots are so much sturdier and the shorter style works so much better. Though my dog now makes a noise when the hard rubber hits the floor, she is walking around and getting up with no issues! She’ll keep the boots on all day, no problem and no need to keep fixing the fit! These are great boots!
Prime Member –
These work great but you do have to put them on tight. The first night we went out for a walk, I didn’t have them on tight enough and she lost one in the snow and I didn’t notice until we got home. Grabbed my trusty led flashlight and in the car retraced our path. Thanks to the scotchlite strap, the bootie was very easy to spot at night in the snow. These are good quality boots.
girlnextdoor –
QUMY dog boots-great instructions that work & they stay on!! My Cooper is a 3 year old, 65 pound, spazzy Australian Shepard X. We followed the training instructions for getting him used to wearing the boots. Started out with 2 boots and within a few days..well, watch the 10 second video.
luigi ceniccola –
Easy to use and best of all, they stay on! These are too cute! They’re easy to put on and take off AND they actually stay on my pup! She doesn’t mind them and didn’t take long to get used to! She was running around in the snow after only a few short trial walks prior to! easy to tighten with the 2 Velcro straps and the pull strap.
Ramon skerrett –
So far so good but need to keep an eye! I picked these because they are taller than most boots and there are 3 ties to help them stay on. My pup trotted like a horse and sometimes stumbled over the pavement (because of traction from pavement I guess). The boots made him walk slower at times. These boots protect his paws from the cold, heat, rain or debris after a storm. I am not as confident that they would stay put if he runs. I do love that his paws stay dry and clean.
alex manning –
Thanks for training instructions! Good product. Love the training instructions. I think without them me and my pup would have not been successful in using the product.
Katie Jordan –
Yay for paw protection! These are working really well on my dog. Once she got over the “oh there is something on my feet” awkwardness she now takes on her snowy/icy walks like a pro! My one issue with them is sometimes I don’t tighten them enough so they spin around on her foot. Also, the position of the top of the boot/straps can be a little tricky with her dewclaw – thus them being a little too loose on occasion. Overall, grateful for these boots and the protection and traction they offer my dog in the winter.
Carla G –
Does its job, wouldn’t know how durable it is until several uses from now. The main thing is that it helps protect my dog’s feet from getting cold and wet. Helps keep the floor and carpet clean from the mud that he sometimes drag in, if he wasn’t wearing shoes.
Jennifer smith –
They were super easy to put on and he only lost 1 in the snow but was easy to find because of the reflector
Kris –
Nice doggie boots and worth the price. These dog boots are extremely well made and cute. It’s a huge bonus that they include a pamphlet on how to convince your pup to wear them.
rsand –
Looking forward to teaching the pups how to get used to them.
James Edmonds –
Awesome dog boots! These boots for my pup are great! She keeps them on and they stay on. I got them for the winter hiking trips to keep snow out of her paws and her feet safe from the cold temps here in Pa. Awesome boot! So thankful I bought them!
NO NAME –
LOVE THE BOOTS. My Golden-doodle loves the boots. No issue with her wearing them. The only thing is they should be higher on her leg.
I live on Lake Ontario and get a lot of lake effect snow. We live in a small resort town and most people leave in the winter thus the sidewalks are never shoveled so we have to walk in the streets and these boots have good traction.
DCTocci –
Cute and waterproof to boot. These are exactly what we were looking for for our larger dog who does not enjoy wet paws. Perfect.
REngland –
A high quality boot. I purchased these to protect my dogs feet from the dragging associated with DM. These boots are new so there is not much wear but I’m very happy with them. The fit is better than other boots that I have tried, They open easily to fit his large paws which makes getting them on easier. They also fit nicely when cinched closed. The rubber on the sole of the boot wraps up and over the front of the boot, which I believe will make them last longer than his last pair. Very happy with this purchase.
Andrew Rich –
Great product well made. Love these boots. Well made and perfect protection for my dogs paws.
Geekgal –
So far these are turning out to be great dog boots. My elderly standard poodle (17 yrs old) is now slipping on our floor. I tried another boot but those boots wore out in about 6-8 weeks. These boots seem much stronger and have a much better rubber sole. She has no problems wearing them. She has CCD so I am not even sure she knows she is wearing boots. The only issue I have had is that sometimes the boots get twisted around her foot when she is sleeping so when she gets up the top of the boot is on the bottom of her foot. I just have to make sure I check them now and then (I don’t want to tighten them too tight for fear of cutting off circulation). Other than that I think these will wear for a while and am looking forward to not having yucky wet winter feet when she comes inside from a walk or potty trip. Overall great boots and I would recommend these to my fellow pet parents.
Kelli Montano –
I followed the guide on getting my dog used to these boots. Over the course of a week I eased her in to being comfortable with these on her feet while she lay on the couch. Finally with just the front boots on I had her get off couch and walk. She looked like a prancing horse. Soo cute. After doing this 3 times a day for 2 days I added rear boots. Believe the excellent guide made all the difference in preparing. She has a grass allergy so can only go outside with these on if she will be walking on grass. Highly recommend these boots
George Greene –
Perfect for traction on smooth floors. I bought these boots for my 12-year old Dogue de Bordeaux to provide him with traction on out porcelain tile floors. They work perfectly and prevent him from slipping (his hips are terrible). I have yet to use them in the Chicago winter but the rubber soles will definitely help on the ice
sebastian reymers –
Great boots, perfect fit. We bought a different pair of dog boots in a local pet store, they were difficult to get on since they didn’t naturally fit our dog’s paw and their closure hit a weird spot on our dog’s leg. These were the exact opposite, went on easy, stayed on well if you make sure they are snug (which becomes easier after a few uses) and our dog got used to them after a few days. We went by the measurements in the product pics, and ordered a size 6, which was a perfect fit. For reference, our dog is a 50-55 lb pit-mix.
Liz –
So I had bought two sizes as I wasn’t completely sure on my measuring of my dogs foot…ended up getting the smaller size. They haven’t fallen off once. really appreciate the instructions/training method of getting your dog used to the shoes. We didn’t follow it exactly as I needed him to be able to wear the shoe immediately (he has a cyst in between his toes that he is on medication for but the salt on the sidewalks keeps irritating it), but the ideas were great. used some of their recommendations and method in order to get Tomato on board. seem durable with the first bit of use.
Jodi O –
I ordered these boots for my English bulldog, who can’t walk on cement because he rolls his paws over when he walks. (The tops of his toes get torn up if he walks on cement.) I was really impressed by the quality of these boots, the actual traction on the bottom, and the ease of putting them on. Unfortunately they didn’t work for my bulldog because of the way he rolls his paws (he needs something that fits more like a second skin), but QUMY was incredibly helpful when I contacted them. Their customer service is top-notch! If you have a dog who doesn’t roll his paws over when he walks, I would definitely recommend QUMY and their boots!!
McGyver –
Our dog took right to them and did not have to train into them.
Samantha –
Great boots for snow. We have a pit mix and she is petite at 47 lbs. I got the size 6 and they fit great! We have to tighten them all the way so they don’t fall off and they stay on the whole walk. At first I thought they were too big but now I think they are perfect, I’m afraid the size 5 would be too small. The only complaint is that they are a little stiff and first but we’ve used them a few times they are starting to get broken in.
Danielle –
These are great.
Rodney –
These boots are made for walking. Purchased these for our mature 60lb Buddy the “Dalmador”, with weak rear legs due to neurological decay, to enhance his remaining time with us.
Michelle L. Evey –
After prancing around like a pony for about 2 minutes, he settled down and started walking like a normal pup. He gets incredible traction while his precious paws are protected.
Vincent, the 82 pound Double-doodle wears a large. They fit perfectly and stay on well.
Victoria –
Erin Mandia –
Great shoes for our Shepard! So far, so good! Our German Shepard is walking so much better on our hard floors! He would fall multiple times a day, and hasn’t since we bought these. Worth the money!!!
D. Walsh –
Good quality, easy to put on and off. We have been training our dog to wear these and it’s been going well. They’re well constructed, easy to put on and off (within reason – you’re putting them on a dog, after all!), and the instruction booklet is clear and helpful. I’m impressed with the quality of the booties so far and will definitely update this review after they have made it through a Wisconsin winter.

Was exactly what we were looking for. Fits good, took a little while for our little boy to get used to, but seems to have adapted now.
Tara –
Amazing dog boots and great for all outdoor activities! I was a little unsure if these would work or well even stay on after I have tried others, but I was impressed! They are great quality, work amazing and keep my babies feet safe, especially on those hot days and even better they actually stay on her feet! I am very happy with my purchase!
Merle –
These boots are great so far. Our 65 pound Siberian Husky wears them every day for his walks/runs. These boots stay on securely and have shown NO sign of wear. We live in Arizona and are using them to keep his paws clean from the asphalt streets, as well as protecting his pads. Way to go, QUMY‼️
Showbiz68 –
These work exactly as they are described. They stay on very well and offer the barrier on our dog’s feet that we were looking for.
Ramey Ward –
Good dog boots. I have a standard poodle and although he only weighs 65 lbs, he wears size 8.
Big paws!
Alexa –
Awesome dog shoes. This one is a lot better than some of the others because it has 2 straps to secure better to the feet so ot doesnt come off. My Moana loves her shoes and knows its time to go walking when we tell her to put her shoes on. Thank you so much. Aloha!
Jeffery –
These are great quality. I used them every day this summer walking my dog on the concrete and will continue to use in the winter with the salt and ice.
Mitch S. –
Saved dog paw soles. Keeps Thor’s soles from rubbing off on hot concrete after he jumps in the pool.
S.W –
Great dog booties for a walk on hot pavement.
A.L. Bentley –
Our 12 year old lab mix periodically drags his rear paws when he walks and basically has little nail left. It is either painful or irritating as he would lick his rear nails constantly. We purchased the boots to keep him from grinding down his nails during our walks as well as allow them to grow back. He adjusted to them in less than 30 seconds and absolutely loves them. He walks with a purpose now and with pep in his step.
James Akridge –
Paw savers!! No more fox tails!! Our pooch is a ball and frisbee fanatic and these shoes are saving his feet from a beating he took to them right away and I’m pretty sure our ball junky Ausie is faster than ever! Bets $30 I’ve spent!
Ginger Sakas –
My sweet 13 yo Golden can get up again on her own! What a great aid — good construction – she doesn’t fuss with them .
The can rotate so cloth side ends up as walking surface , but even then provides enough traction to get her on her feet.
cathy –
Good shoes for your dog. They fit her perfect. She has big paws really good quality
JM –
Works well at protecting my hardwood floors.
Wanda Caraballo –
BEST DOG BOOTS EVER!!!
Lindy Johnson –
My 9 year old Labrador wears these booties very often. He walks in them just fine. We’ve been using them for a couple months now and they’re holding up great.
Fred Stuit –
Protection from the hot pavement in Las Vegas….. Fit well. It only took about a day for her to get used to them. She wears them almost 24/7 only off at night…. Great stuff
J. Klein –
I held off on buying dog boots since my labradoodle is picky and quirky about change. I had expected resistance trying to put the shoes on her. None. Then I expected she’d walk funny like so many videos I’ve seen. She did not. Not only are they protecting her from our burning hot sidewalks but she is a senior dog s d the shoes allow her to get up and down with much more confidence. I think she loves her new shoes
Bryan Hranicky –
I had originally bought a size 8 for my golden based on the sizing given on the product, but it turned out to be a bit too big as they would slip off. After contacting the seller, they were able to quickly send a replacement of size 7 booties, and they fit my dog much better! Now I will be able to take him on walks more often when the sidewalks are hotter during the summer, and he is able to walk around in them comfortably. Also plan to test them out when it is wetter outside whenever we get more rain here
logan hannay –
85 pound German Shepard returning for size 6. So far shoes fit great. The 7s I bought were too big. Find that the measurement doesn’t really work. They did get be a quick refund tho and the new shoes out fast. It’s been a heat wave in California and my dog has no problem walking in the street before he would bolt for shade because his feet got to hot. Don’t be afraid to really tighten the straps down or they will fall off. You won’t hurt your dog.
Scott R. –
This were the easiest brand that I have used, when it comes to putting them on. My dog is a mobility service dog, and we need boots for him that work for both my dog and myself. These are easier for me to fix on his patterns.
Kyle wesselman –
I looked all over for shoes for our dog when we went to Washington DC and knew we’d be doing a lot of walking around. It was August which means super hot pavement. These boots were a life saver for her! They fit great, worked so well and she didn’t mind them once she got them on. We walked around the National Mall for 6 hours, she wore them the entire time and never had any issues. She also got so many compliments and remarks the whole day about how she looked so happy and how smart it was to have shoes for her. Definitely a good buy, can’t recommend enough!
Marie –
I ordered these for my daughter’s dog because he was having surgery on 3 of his paws. Surgery was a success and so are the boots!!! He is an old boy so the boots also help him when he gets up on the hatd wood floors. He is 107lbs and I got him a large. They work for us!
Kaylee –
Absolutely love these boots definitely a good choice. My girl loves them and she does her zoomies in them. She wears them most of the day when we are out doing our daily activities, also Great for us since we live in the desert.
Michele Barker –
These are great boots. Purchased these for pup who is in a wheel chair and drags his feet so needed something to protect. He is 100 lbs and we purchased the large size. The boots protect his feet and stay on well. Very durable.
HelzBelz –
These shoes are awesome. Bought them for my 1 year old golden and she loves them. They were perfect for the river with the sand and rocks being over 100+ degrees. It’s a total difference from before till now that she has them. They seem to fit very well and she loves them. Highly recommend!
Trinity –
My pitbull trained perfectly with these shoes. A lot faster than I expected. I live in Texas so it gets super hot here. Love the shoes, dogs walking fine.
Hvymtl83 –
We have yet to get the shoes on the dogs. I bought them to protect their feet from the zebra mussels in the river where the dogs play.
The quality of the shoe appears to be good.
LAFD Princess –
Item is very well made and it was no problem for my 95lb German Shepherd to walk in them right away. I purchased these boots to help my girl to walk better because she has developed a little hip weakness and these prevent her feet from slipping when she walks on our tile floor. The rubber sole grips very well. I use them on her back paws only while indoors and then on all 4 paws outdoors. I am very pleased with the results and so is she! Excellent product that I will definitely will buy again.
Kelly S –
I’d give them 6 stars if I could! These are amazing. Super easy to get on and they stay put. Our first trip out was blackberry picking in the mountains. Sam ran up and over brambles and vines and trees limbs and he had no stickers or thorns in his paws. Very happy with them!
Kiki08 –
Affordable and functional dog booties, loved!
Kelly –
I live in Florida and my dog and I go to the farmers market on saturday mornings. Florida pavement gets hot early so if I sleep in I feel bad bringing him and leaving him home. We tried the shoes today for the first time. He walked very funny at home and in the car but as soon as we got to the farmers market he was so distracted he walked normally. The pavement didn’t bother him and I could guilt free take my time walking around! Everyone commented on his shoes too (1 guy asked to take a picture and a couple others asked where I got them). Don’t be discouraged if your dog walks funny at first. Just takes some getting used to and a distraction to help!
GearedUp –
CUTE GREAT QUALITY DOG BOOTIES.
Louis –
Our lab loves them. They fit nice and tight so they don’t come off. Now he can swim
In the pool without ripping the pool liner
Joshua Chang –
These are great and the best dog boots I’ve used so far. If you could make them go a little higher so the Velcro is above the dogs dew claw that would be better.
One thing to be careful is that if your dog has a dew claw and the Velcro goes over it then the dew claw rubs against their fur. This causes basically a burn from the friction.
Horserider –
I just got them today so it’s too early to tell about durability or wear. I’ll update that later. The boots arrived quickly and were well packaged. They look great. We tried them on, but it’ll take her a few tries to get used to them. So far I’m pretty happy!
GwenB –
The boots are great. I put them on Captain to protect his pads walking the dock in this heat. They are also useful in protecting the cars interior. He doesn’t seem to mind wearing them either!
Archille Cuyle –
They are amazing. I actually bought them for my lab to swim in because he jumps in and out of the pool and runs on the concrete until his feet bleed. He used them for a whole day and no more sore feet.
Lilmissblonde –
My dog basically declawed on of his toes… so while it’s healing he needed something on his paw to walk around inside and out so nothing got into it. These have worked great and he got use to them very fast. But since he has to wear them so much it did rub on his dew claw and cause some irritation and infection. So great for short use (like hiking/walks) but not for extended use. Otherwise works just how they should.
Amber –
My pooch has no problem with these. He chewed off his paw pad due to yeast, so I bandage it and then put on the boots. He can still run and play as it’s healing since he has so much energy. W/o the boots he’d likely be far more confined during his healing process. They open up wide to slip on easily and have a thick rubber bottom so nothing pokes through them. The feet are well protected. It took only two days for him to get used to them. He needs only one foot covered but I noticed that he does better if he’s even on all four feet.
Doc G –
I got these boots for my own dog (I’m a veterinarian, so that’s as opposed to boots for client dogs) to protect her feet while healing from some surgery, and they are worth every penny. Very good quality material, true to size and can be tightened sufficiently so they don’t flop off while remaining comfortable enough she isn’t chewing at them. They even look good, lots of comments on her booties. I have the full set of four for her, of course (since that’s how they come), but if I need more, these are my go-to choice again in the future. Couldn’t be more pleased, and I’ll also recommend these to my clients that need boots for their own dogs.
TooClose2DC –
Better than what the vet came up with. My pup had to have a benign tumor removed and couldn’t get her paw wet. The vet cut open a saline bag and put a tie through the top. That was unusable. These fit and kept my pup’s foot dry!
kat morrisson –
Really well-made, quality booties. We are still working on the whole getting-him-used-to-shoes thing, but these are great shoes and will provide good comfort and protection from the searing heat of desert pavement.
Meagan Jones –
My dog doesnt seem to mind the shoes! They slip off after an hour but i think she’ll fill them out more as she grows
Marishka –
The QUMY boots saved my 70lb. Shepherd mix from having to have surgery to fix a broken nail that had become infected. He wore the boots outside on daily walks and hikes through the woods for 2 weeks until the infection cleared up. The boots stayed on as he walked and ran through mud, snow and rough terrain. I highly recommend these boots.
PKSreviewer –
These are easy to put on and go above my dogs hock. So far the Velcro’s is holding and not torn off. They mostly have stayed on but my dog’s back feet knuckle so that makes it more difficult to stay on his foot. Because of this the top of the boot is fraying some already. But these have held up the best and stayed on the best. The inside has felt bottoms so it’s more comfortable for him too.
Josh crowell –
They work pretty good. They stay on pretty good as long as you tighten them enough. We went through a little bit of snow but not too deep. The snow gets in them and kinda bugs him. Great for walking on roads with salt on them.
Elizabeth W. –
These boots come up to the last top pad of my dogs foot. It has an adjustable elastic band at the top to help keep out snow and sand.
I haven’t had a chance to use these yet but as soon as I do I will update this review.
So for now I can not state how durable they are. But I imagine they are pretty good. They seem well made and sturdy.
So I have a 52lb pitty mix and I followed the measurement table (I measured him standing with a paper under his foot and marked each side, top, bottom and sides) and my pup has a paw that is 2 1/4” wide and 2 3/4” long (from the back of his pad to the tip of his nail, I’ll post a photo) So I got the size 5. They fit him perfect. They don’t flop or fall off.
I love the reflective strip at the top and was surprised to find that the inside of the boot has soft material! So no itchy or rough material makes his paws very happy.
Can’t wait to use these and they are going to be perfect to protect his paws in winter and on hot pavement in the summer.
Lauren Keeler –
These boots are great-they provide my dog extra traction and protect her feet from the snow and salt. The updated design with the elastic around the top helps prevent snow from coming in her boots. The company also has excellent customer service, as they were out of the size my dog needed and made sure to send the size as soon as it was made. They even asked us to donate the shoes we bought that were too big instead of returning them! I highly recommend these QUMY boots! For sizing reference, our dog ended up with a size 6 boot and is a 65 pound hound mix.
Benita Patel –
Great Quality Shoes, Stay on well with minimal rotation and my labrador loves them! Our black lab is getting older and slowly losing function of her hind legs due to neuropathy. We have been using QUMY shoes for over a year now and recently tried these longer shoes. I have to say, they work GREAT! My pup seems very comfortable and they almost never rotate and flip around like the shorter shoes do. These shoes have worked wonders for my sweet pup’s grip on slippery surfaces and we use them for all our outdoor play and walks. She routinely swims and runs through the woods with these shoes, which effectively protect her paws from all the dragging she does. We replace a pair of shoes about every 3 weeks, but we also put A LOT of wear and tear on them. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quality shoe for your pup!
Moua H. –
These are great. Keeps my dog’s feet from bleeding due to the dragging caused by age. You have to take the time to put these on properly and they will be just fine.
Catherine –
These booties were better than expected! The size 6 was the perfect length for my 80 lb pittie, but they are too wide. I could tighten them, which helped a lot. They came without a weird smell (unlike other Amazon products), and arrived promptly. My dog was used to them within minutes. They even came with a guide to help ease your dog into booties which is helpful if the dog never has worn them before. While he’s only been on one walk with them, they seem quite durable! They reflective top works extremely well, too.
kelsey –
The best doggy shoes. They stay on, they have enough traction, my dog got used to them in barely a day
Marjorie Scheidt –
I purchased these boots for a two-week vacation in the mountains. In the beginning my dog tried to shake the boots off and would barely walk. After a little practice, she acted like she didn’t even know they are on as you can see in the video. So great to take off after being in the snow. No wet feet! And her feet are warm too. Buy these! You won’t be disappointed.
JujubeeJA –
We purchased a pack of dog booties because our dog cut her paw. The injury required stitches on the padding of her foot. After three days we changed the bandage and put the dog booty on her paw. The booty was perfect to keep her foot stable and she seemed comfortable when she walked. The booty was water proof and easily to clean.
Morgan –
The price does not reflect the great quality of these boots. I got these for my 70lb Boxer. I originally went with a size 7. They were too big. Contacted the company and got a response right away. explained the situation, they were so helpful. Asked me to remeasure my dogs feet, and they would send a different size. After doing it again, I realised where i had gone wrong the first time. I had not had my dogs paws in the correct standing position. I asked for a size 6 and they are a much better fit.
The boots are pretty soft inside and tough on the outside. Comfortable for my dog. Nice deep tread for traction. My girl has a problem with her back leg collapsing out from under her. These help a lot, so I am very happy with that.
The company sent the new shoes free of charge. They told me I didn’t need to send the first ones back. I have given those to Boxer rescue. They were fantastic to work with. I had bought non slip socks from another company, was not happy with them at all. When I sent an email requesting a return number, I never even received a reply.
So, overall based on the quality of the boots, the price and the great customer service, I would buy these again without any reservation.
Lisa Ruehlow –
These protect our dog’s feet. We needed a solution for extremely cold temperatures and also for a way to prevent painful ice walls from forMing in between our dog’s pads. They are A bit heavy and it is taking time for our dog to get used to them- he lifts his hind paws/legs in a pretty awkward way with these on his feet due to the weight. And he has walked out of them a few times, but less and less with repeated use. I think these will be a good solution for us eventually. They certainly are durable. It will just take time and repeated use for our golden doodle to become more accustomed to them.
mike t garcia –
They are water resistant as long as the dog doesn’t submerge into the pool or above the top of the boot. works great with puddles running thru. Oh they do get sweaty paws…remember, these are not like the summer boots that breath better.
Our american Labrador didn’t need acclimation …lol…he got right into them and galloped like a horse a bit the didn’t pay them any mind. Remember, each dog has their own character, so always follow directions and begin with acclimation. If they except it quick(great)..if not….take your time,,, they’ll appreciate the support these boots offers them in their condition.
Ace Brown –
Only used one time so not much of a review. Easy to put on with wide opening. Velcro straps keep it simple and they stayed on. May be more slippery on packed snow than others I’ve tried.
The Swede –
These shoes are awesome ! Very well made and my dog lives them, this company is awesome their customer service is very fast and friendly, the shoes come with great advice for first time use and my dog gets a lot of compliments !
Stephanie –
Just what the Dr ordered. Took me awhile to get the correct pair for Dexter but the Dr want the best fit for the best chance of how his foot to heal correctly. Alll Dr did was to add steel stints inside. Thank you for your patients on each trial pair.
He was attacked by 2loose dogs 🐕 🐕 while we were just taking a walk.
It’s not the dogs…
It’s the OWNERS that give pits or 1/2 pit a bad name. Too bad I’m just to afraid to go walking in my own neighborhood.
FYI They moved in the middle of the night. My bad I was more concerned getting him to vet in police 🚔 car then getting a report. After hours of surgery because we couldn’t unlock the one dog from him. FYI Cop STUCK HIS FINGER IN HIS ANAL WHILE OTHER COP COVERED ITS HEAD WITH A JACKET. Thank God they showed up in time.
Jeffrey Perez –
Use it everyday to walk my dog, as long as you put it on right, it’ll work. Nice.
kzoo pam –
These boots cost less than the Mutt luks that I used on my dogs for years. I have a medium sized doodle dog and he wears these boots regularly. There are two styles, because we have muddy winters, I prefer the style with the longer cuff. These are so durable. There is no problem with the sole wearing out. Additionally they are so cute that my bouncy boy gets many complements on his cute boots.
Jessica Reiley –
Best dog boot out there. My 190lb chocolate lab puts them to the test! love how they are like a shoe with the rubber on the bottom. My dog throws his feet around when playing fetch or running and this is the only dog boot that holds up very well!
sue –
Great shoes, it’s hard to find ones that do well in all terrains without flying off or hurting his dew claw. I just wsh this came in a smaller size, I bought the smallest and it was still way too big for my medium sized dog even though I followed the sizing chart. You gotta double check with that.
Sandy –
I got these after my Doberman had spinal surgery and needed traction. Even his vet liked them, better then the ones they gave him.
dubnovich –
We had originally purchased the regular Qumy boots for our 92# Labradoodle, but had to return. The size 8 fit fine on his foot, but not high enough on his leg. He has long feet. These higher top boots fit much better. Same size 8. We can cinch them around his leg for a better, tighter and more secure fit in snow and mud. Also, these are well made and easy to put on due to the design.
Carpe_Noctem –
My dog goes through shoes rather fast. He is rough on them when we go on hikes or taking walks through snow. These have been the first to last the entire season. I also like how easy it is to put on his feet. I would definitely recommend.
gail Bishop –
Seeded ok.. The downfall very slippery when hardened sno/ice.
David T –
Love these boots. Our Lab wears them at the beach after getting badly cut on oyster shells. Very well made.
Like this new taller model better than previous version. The toggle on top helps keep out sand.
elizabeth killian –
Perfect fit for my border collie.. I feel better knowing he will be safe with the salt on the sidewalk
Christine Swift –
Very durable, best boots for dogs. Helps keep the sidewalk salt out of your dogs paws. My girl loves doing zoomies with her new boots.
Katie –
Pretty good boots. They work pretty good. They stay on pretty good as long as you tighten them enough. We went through a little bit of snow but not too deep. I wish they were a little taller. The snow gets in them and kinda bugs him. Great for walking on roads with salt on them. I also think I should have gotten a size bigger.
TXMom –
Love these booties for my trail running-loving dog! These booties are perfect for my husky mix. He loves going with me on bike rides on the trail but we get home and has burrs and foxtails stuck up inside his paws. I put these booties on and now I don’t have to go digging around his paw pads to pull out burrs.
Buck –
Our dog got used to them pretty quick. They fit nicely and stayed on 99% of the time which I call a victory! Thanks!
Nicholas Marazoff –
Living in the desert, the sidewalks are just too hot for dogs.
Had purchased these boots for an aging Cane Corso, Aezarah, (A ribbon winning show girl in her youth, we got her in retirement, after two litters…) unfortunately, she had issue, I was able to put on a rear boot, and she went and laid down. I was then able to put on one front boot, then she tried to stand, and the boot was just too foreign, and she had a fit… this said, these are a second set of this quality type boots, just ‘like‘ the ones I purchased for Milo, my psychiatric service animal, and fortunately, he loves dress up, and as his current boots are wearing thin, these are a perfect replacement. I gave 5 stars all across, because he has worn them for the two, or so, years, of service his boots have given him. I am pleased 😃 And am looking forward to more years of booted service.
Thank you for the opportunity to iterate this.
Easy to slip on
Grips beautifully on the tile
Reflective bands are a nice touch.

Sasha and Chris –
Perfect dog boots for hot pavement. I’m very happy with these dog boots! I have a corgi and size 4 fits him perfectly. It took a few days for him to get used to the boots, however he never wore something like this before, so this is something I expected to happen. Right now he can do a short walk around the house and the boots stay on well! He’s able to do his regular activities without any difficulties and I’m so relieved because we live in the area where it be up to 105 degrees. These boots will definitely help us during hot days!
Felicia Gordon –
My old girl loves them. She feels safer with them on – no more slipping on the wood floors. She can get right up from the floor now. Only issue is the shoes on her hind legs are too large so I’ve ordered a smaller set for those. Perhaps a new way to sell them would be to let you order specific sizes for front and back legs instead of 4 the same size.
Alexa –
Great dog boots. I think I might have gotten them a little big. But they fit her great.
smokey rain –
Great Doggie Shoe-boots! Highly recommend! These shoes are awesome. Our doggy Lovebug loves them and so do we. They fit comfortably and stay on perfectly! He gave them a thorough test for hours in thick mud, water, sand, dirt, and rock terrains. He even easily swam in them, DUG HOLES, and chewed sticks! Will definitely buy again!
EddyJ –
Fits my 31 lb doodle well and the shoes seem of good quality. They didn’t fall off even with her dewclaws and it didn’t seem to bother her. Overall good shoes!
Alexander R. –
The shoes are great. My dog is supper comfortable. And she gets a lot of compliments or her new shoes!! I just ordered them in red as well!
Piper T. –
SIZE 4 for our POMSKY. We thought our Pomsky would hate these but he LOVES them!! He’s doesn’t like to have his paws touched but somehow he loves wearing them, we think he feels cool in them because he prances around and does big kicks after going poop. BOTTOM LINE: boots are easy to put on, durable, didn’t need socks or any extra anything to get them to stay on. They are a great fit!
Katy –
The best dog boots! I have a medium size Goldendoodle weighing around 47 lbs. and will be three years old in August. He is stocky and has big feet. He is one of the biggest Goldendoodles in our community other than the two standard size dogs. In our community your dog must be “tethered” when outside. Because of that regulation I walk him four or five times a day on concrete. We live in PA so it’s not always sunny and dry here. I bought these dog boots to keep his feet dry. The first pair I bought lasted a year. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the boots. They also have two velcro straps around them so they don’t come off, and one of the straps is reflective for night walking. I have two pair of these boots so he always has a dry pair. I will never buy another brand because I already found the best!
Ethan –
Perfect for my corgi! We have been walking around trails and hiking a lot since the quarantine started. She loves walking with me but the terrain hurts her feet after a while! I bought these and have had no problems since. She can go miles with me now without missing a beat!
Staphanie –
So thankful I found these! My veterinarian suggested I get my husky German shepherd mix boots due to his paws starting to show signs of arthritis. My dog got use to them almost immediately. As long as I secure them tight enough then there is no issues! Had them over a month now we walk everyday, and I have not found any sores or problems! My dog is now able to enjoy long walks, hikes, hot or cold terrain! These are great! My dog is 60lbs and I got a size 6.
Maria S. –
These were great! We have a border collie/American bulldog and he loves to run around in snow. These stayed on in deep snow for 45+ minutes and didn’t slow him down a bit. We tightened the straps as snuggly as possible and his feet were warm and dry when we got home.
ood. –
Stays on great with my large 90lb dog. Just wished they made the back feet slightly smaller size. Be he’s got huge front feet/paw pads and like back feet are a size smaller. LOL or perhaps my doggie has missed matched paws from birth?! LOL! Other than that stays on really good and as long as they are fitted good he doesn’t mind wearing them once he gets to running alongside the bike with me.
Sydney Nicole –
Great boots! Dog cant get them off and they dont slide off either. These stay on through the whole walk and she can run, dig, play, anything
Gena –
These are the second pair I have purchased. These are great for dogs. The velcro strap makes it easy to adjust to your dogs paw and its a great way to keep them dry during winter and rain or keep from getting their paws burnt in the summer.
Sarah Bernier –
I purchased these boots for my senior dog this winter. We live in the Twin Cities (Minnesota); she’s never needed boots to keep her feet warm or to prevent snowballs from building up in her paws, but as she gets older the strength in her hind end is leaving. After a big thaw one weekend (40°F) we got cold weather that froze everything into an icy mess. In our neighborhood there aren’t sidewalks, so we walk on the streets and with the ice and uneven footing my poor girl was having trouble keeping her balance on her hind end.
My parents’ dog has been using QUMY boots for the past couple of winters (for cold feet + snowballs) and they really like them, so I’m familiar with the brand and decided to try them for my girl because I remembered they have a sturdy rubber sole. I figured those could help her “get a grip” on the icy streets and be able to move safely. On our first walk with them she was a different dog—instead of walking very slowly and unsteadily, and losing her footing, slipping and sliding ( or even falling on her back end) she was TROTTING along with pep in her step again!
I know the boots are rugged and they’d stay on since my parents’ dog has tested them in ALL kinds of snow; I wasn’t sure how they’d work for gripping purposes so I was absolutely thrilled they work for that, too. They really help my old gal on the ice, so much so that she’ll just go wherever she wants without a care in the world, versus before when she tried to avoid any ice as much as possible. She’d never even worn boots before, and I think as soon as she realized she could move freely without fear of losing her balance, she took to them like a fish to water. Easy peasy!
The only issue I had was trying to choose a size; from my parents having purchased these before for a similar-sized dog I thought I knew what size I needed. Turns out the ones I ordered were too small, but some other reviewer had a great tip that helped me size them: have your dog stand on a piece of paper and trace the outline of his/her feet (front paws, since those are most often bigger), then measure the drawing. You can try to measure your dog’s feet while they just stand there, but you need to have them bearing their weight on the foot to determine the best boot fit, and they need a little wiggle room in the boots for their feet to spread out properly, just like our own feet in our shoes. So measuring the tracing will give you a slightly bigger measurement that will be better for them within the boots. This method helped me immediately find the right size for my GSD (I got an 8; she’s only 60lbs, but has big feet).
While the boots are just a tad big for her back feet (her front paws are bigger), they work great. She doesn’t really need them on the front, and to save time in the mornings I just put them on her back feet anyway. When we get back to the yard after our walks, she wants to play fetch (even at 13 years of age, and moving slower, she still loves playing), and the boots have stayed on beautifully in the snow—even with the snow with a crusty, hard top.
Thanks, QUMY, for a great product that not only helps my senior dog walk on the winter streets again, but gives me peace of mind that she can do so. I can’t recommend these boots enough!

They stay on really well and our dog got used to them in a short time.

Keep my dogs feet out of the blue city salt which burns them! Sturdy and relatively easy to get off an on.

Great bootie, stays on and has a good tred. Bought them to keep balls of snow from forming in our golden collie’s paws. It does rub his dewclaw against his skin, causing minor irritation, so we only use them when it’s absolutely necessary. I don’t see another boot solving this problem.

I get so many compliments whenever my dog goes for walks with me. Have ordered another 2 pairs for him. Easy to clean and it fits well.

Took my guy for a trial wal in these to see how they fit his feet and if they stayed in place. They did, no turning , no chance of him slipping out of them. The fit was great and he had no problem walking in them. This are much nicer than others i have purchased in the past, with the exception of the ruffwear set I have. The grip on these is not as much but overall the boots are comparable in quality . Very satisfied. Only time will tell as far as sturdiness/durability and easy to clean.

Great dog boots. These are the best boots I’ve ever gotten for my 75 lb goldendooodle. They fit well so his feet don’t slide around inside and the hiking boot tread lets him walk without slipping or getting torn up.
Maria Lucio –
I finally found the best boot For my golden doodle after 5 different ones.
Definitely easy to put on!!!

We got these for Coda so she could still enjoy a walk or run when the ground is frozen. They are a complete success! She didn’t even seem to notice she had them on and her feet weren’t frozen or cut from the ice!

I have a large dog, Catahoula, and hard floors so he slides when walking. He gets nervous and excited and has slipped and fell. I decided to buy the boots for him. Everyone thought I was crazy and made fun of it. But I put in his front paws and he can walk and run without getting scared of falling. He’s even gotten to the point he will sit hand be his paw to put on him.

I always thought dog booties were kinda ridiculous until Atticus and I started hiking daily no matter the weather. Seeing as how we live at an altitude of 6000’+ in the middle of Colorado, those booties wound up becoming extremely necessary. He seems pretty comfortable and definitely happier when we go out in the snow 🙂

Protected my dogs back feet while walking outdoors. Due to neurological issues he knuckles-under (drags his toenails). This protects the nails from scraping and wearing down to the point of bleeding. No problem with him learning to walk with them on. The “large” size fits a German Shepherd with very large feet.

Our dog is an English Setter who weighs 55 pounds. Before ordering his boots I measured his feet and the Measurements fit with a size 6 Qumy boot. That is what we ordered and we have been very happy with the boots and the fit. Definitely good for our dog in Minnesota in the winter!

This is our second pair we have ordered for our Newfypoo (95lbs). We love them so much that we hated not having a backup when we were washing them. They do not bother him at all, he actually holds his paws up for us to put them on. He has very sensitive paws and walks would usually leave him raw but with these he runs around with no complaints!
Advice: make sure the velcro is all attached when playing outside, otherwise the grass sticks in it and then it will not attach to the other piece unless you pick it all out!
My only wish is that they would be taller…when he plays ball outside he still gets muddy right above where they end. Otherwise we love them!

Definitely recommend. My GSD has fluffy tufts on her paws and the snow freezes, creating large packed ice clods between her toes, which is miserable for her. After a few days of short trial runs wearing them in the house and backyard (lots of positive reinforcement with treats and praise), we headed up for a day in the snow. She did great with her booties, adjusting quickly and running on loose and packed snow as well as bounding through deep drifts. It was very cold, but she never shivered and her paws were warm and dry afterward. Happy dog, happy family, great purchase.

These shoes are perfect for what I needed for my husky! Even though she’s a sturdier “winter dog,” the cold of Upstate New York still gets to her paws when it drops below freezing. We take a long walk every day and these have stayed on and kept her feet warm the whole way. After the first attempt of putting them on and having to put them back on after they fell off, I discovered that you just have to cinch them as tight as they can go and I had no problems after that. It only took one walk for my dog to get completely used to these boots. Also, they look adorable 🙂 Would definitely recommend!

The size chart leaves something to be desired, i suggest going by weight as a starting point. They do go on and off very easily, make sure you use both velcro staps to make it more snug than you think it should be, or they may walk out of them. I ordered the upgraded ones for the rubber sole and they work great so far.
Skredberry –
I like the nonslip feet and they seem great for winter. Maybe if it actually gets cold again, we can use them.

I bought these for my Boxer girl, she is about 90lbs. We have an orchard and it gets very muddy in the raining months. They fit perfect and she adjusted to them very quickly and they stay on. Well made!

Sized right. The tight leveraged pull on the striped band is great for getting tight. The reflective band gives great visibility. The durable footing is excellent and easy to clean.
Edward K. Grasse –
These have worked well. My dog’s feet don’t get covered In mud or snow after he’s been outside. They are easy to put on and take off.

I’ve been using these for about 2 months on my almost 12 year old Lab who is showing early signs of DM – mostly occasional knuckling or stumbling. He had worn his claws down enough that the quick was bleeding on one, and that’s when I bought these boots. First week of him getting used to them was challenging (he didn’t mind the back ones but hated the front ones), but now he doesn’t mind wearing them. They are definitely thick enough that even with his knuckling, his claws has been protected and have grown back. I only have the boots on him for his twice daily walks. When these boots get worn out I plan to order these again.
He’s a 75 lb Lab and size 6’s fit him well.

Our dog loves wearing the boots. We had hard time to fit our German Shepherd. This is perfect to fit. Our boy gets used to it easily after putting them on. Best Boots for Our Dog
Carolyn James –
muddy paws no more. They can twist if you don’t tighten evenly. I purchased for my puppy goldendoodle. He is about 60lbs, taller than average doodle and maybe I could have used a size 6. When I measured his paw it was closer to a 7-8.
Amy –
My 120lb mastiff loves these boots. He normally hates having something on his feet but he took to these pretty quickly. Gravel usually bothers him but with these boots on he zooms right over it.
Sandra Parent-Dugmore –
Took my Goldendoodle a hot minute to get used to them but once he did, he was running all over with them. They are super easy to put on and they stay on nicely with the Velcro straps. My Parker is a medium size Goldendoodle and weighs about 45lbs.

These booties do a great job of protecting my dog’s feet in the ice and snow, he doesn’t mind wearing them at all. If you strap them on tight enough they don’t come off even in deep snow. They’ve held up pretty well so far after a week of use. We prop them up on the heat vent to dry them as I think they may have the potential to get funky if not dried properly as with any type of footwear. Overall we are happy with them and the price isn’t as risky as compared to some of the other name brands if your dog doesn’t end up liking them.

Qumy Dog Boots. These are very well made. I ordered too large for my dog. Be sure to not oversize the boots and measure twice. Great product though. Shipper sent quickly and worked well with me.

Great Boots for our Goldendoodle. I ordered a size 6 for my 45 lb. Goldendoodle and they fit great! Took her a few minutes to figure them out but didn’t mind wearing them around the house until she forgot she was wearing them. These boots will definitely help with our cold snowy winters, I hate trying to get the ice off that has accumulated on the fur between her paw pads. She loves to stay outside and run around in the snow. Makes me laugh how loud it is when she is running around inside on the tile floors, sounds just like my husband with his boots on.

Best boots for your dog. Best boots ever. Good quality and fit perfectly. Photos on IG @instamanchas

I live in the upper midwest, and take my dog running with me throughout the winter. These boots help protect her paws from salt, snow, and cold. My pooch has no problem wearing the boots and they stay on her paws during our runs. These boots have given me piece of mind that my running partners paws are protected.
Andrew Rich –
Love these boots. Well made and perfect protection for my dogs paws.

The pup and I relocated to Colorado, and while we had some shabby boots for our Chicago winters, it looked like we were going to need to upgrade for winter in our new home.
I measured her paws on a piece of paper, and found almost an exact size for her measurements. She was in between a bit, so I went to the larger size.
Today was our first day trying these out, and it’s safe to say they were worth every penny.
It took a couple tries to get them to stay on, but after some tightening she’s running around the dog park and they’re hanging tight.
It took a little adjustment for her, and I would suggest not taking your pup near stairs till they’re used to walking in the boots as she had a little slip on a small stair.
Other than that, these boots are great, and she’s happy for the extra time outside in the snow now that she’s not hopping on there legs trying to keep her paws warm.

These boots seem well made. Still training the pup to get used to them, it takes lots of treats and praise to get him comfortable with them. Haven’t worn them outside yet, so can’t comment on the durability and other aspects of cleaning. So far they seem like they will be good. I felt bad after the first try on because I hadn’t read the very long instructions, that specifically say refrain from laughter. It was impossible to not laugh though.

Easy to put on and they work as advertised. My dog got accustomed quickly.
Tatiana Leon Guerrero –
Dog really isn’t that big a fan, but he’ll get over them. These booties are everything I needed for the winter in North Dakota.
Jeff Ramey –
I really like the shoes!! My dog got used to them pretty quick and they seem to do their job. That being said, I mismeasured my dog’s paw and got a size too big. I should’ve immediately sent them back for another size but I’m stupid, got extremely excited, and let my dog run around outside for a couple hours with them on. Surprisingly, even though the shoes are too big, they still stay on for the most part. But minus me being a little idiotic, the shoes are fantastic. I will and do recommend them to everyone but make sure you measure the paw correctly and if they’re too big try a size smaller. I’m positive if I would have bought the correct size, they’d be perfect.

I bought these for my 8 yr old Boxer who has started to lose stability in his hind legs & is dragging his feet & causing his nails to bleed. These shoes are woking perfectly to protect his feet. The quality is very good & the shoes are easy to put on & they stay with no problem.

These are awesome! Our Airdale pup adjusted to them within 10 minutes. She has worn them several times in the snow and runs and plays like normal! Helps to strap them down tightly. We are very happy with this purchase!

They fit well and seem comfortable! He walked awkwardly for a few minutes but got used to them quickly and doesn’t try to take them off even though he’s usually weird about his feet.

My dog has a severe allergies and he gets rash on his Paws, to prevent this he needs to wear this booties every time we take him for a walk.
It took few day to train him but hes doing better now.
Julie –
Measured my dogs paws In comparison to the chart and they fit perfectly. Haven’t needed to use them yet.
Brayton Wiltfong –
They worked wonders for my dog, especially to protect his feet from drag marks and to give him some traction back. The size guide was perectly accurate as well.
Beware when washing that the Velcro will pick up fibers and to either wash by hand or separately if you can.
Also please pay special attention to the paw marks. They need to face the outside, that way exposed Velcro doesn’t scrape your dog’s ankles.
Mumblez –
They stay on! My search is over. After my boy sliced his foot on glass at our local park I needed something to protect him. Got a pair for my girl too. They are highly receptive to them. Well worth the money
Showbiz68 –
Awesome dog shoes. This one is a lot better than some of the others because it has 2 straps to secure better to the feet so ot doesnt come off. My Moana loves her shoes and knows its time to go walking when we tell her to put her shoes on. Thank you so much. Aloha!

Just took a moderate hike in the phoenix mountains and they worked like a charm. bought the size 6 for a 70lb german shepherd. I was worried about two things-
1. she would simply not take to them. but surprisingly no issues whatsoever. she knew something was different but just went about her day.
2. they would not stay on during the hike. just as we started the back boot fell off but that was my error, they needed to be really secure and I had it on poorly. after that they worked perfectly, the hike was very rocky, uneven terrain with some exposure to cactus. did they work? they had to be better than her pads hitting that really rough surface so I was quite pleased.
lastly, they simply look cool. every person we passed could not get over her boots. clearly not why you should buy them but I thought I would throw that in.

I tried 5 other styles of dog shoes locally, and returned one set purchased from Amazon. These shoes are fantastic for my 90 lb. English Lab service dog. He goes everywhere with me, and was dancing on hot pavement and trying to run faster than my power wheelchair can go. These shoes are preventing paw burns, and my dog is visibly comfortable on hot pavement on days when the ambient air temperature is as high as 106! I am buying a second pair today so I can rotate them through the wash. I would like more options for colors! I bought red the first time, and black ones today. Blue or orange would be nice if they were available in this brand. I look forward to putting them on his feet when we get extremely cold weather.

Nice dog boots. I really like these boots, they stay on good & they are more sturdy than other boots I’ve purchased, which seems to allow my dog walk better in them.

I bought these for my niece’s dog. She has a fairly large dog so I bought a size 7. They fit perfectly. The dog took awhile to get used to them, but now has no problem walking with them on when they go for hikes. Cute Dog shoes!
